Popped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning and ordered the "Whole Hog" breakfast, boy was I not disappointed. Huge portion size and the food was of good quality, the only thing i felt could do with with some improvement was the mushrooms needed a bit more flavour.
The wait staff were attentive and efficient, will definitely going back there again when I need a decent breakfast to get me through the day.
Very happy lunch at Groove Train. We had the taste plate to share, all food on the plate are delicious. We also had the signature cous cous chicken salad, chicken risotto and chicken pasta. And we are happy with all these dishes, the portion is very generous. For me, i had the cous cous salad, it is very nice texture and amazing flavor as they had toasted almond, walnuts and dry berries in the cous cous, topped with yoghurt. The texture and this mix is spot on. Cannot ask for more! The coffee there is also good, try to have long black if you could. Its not a bitter coffee, its more of a round and mild texture.
As we are so happy with what we have got, certainly will be back again.
Great views. Great food. Great sangria. Excellent friendly attentive service. Dinner: I ordered eggplant chips for starters, for my main it was Thai red curry. I ordered the red wine sangria which had too much ice for my liking nonetheless it was tasty.
I returned the next and met a friend for brunch. I ordered the Spanish scrambled eggs - a bit dry; and my friend went for the pancake stack which she says was really good.
I'd definitely return to this place when back in Brisbane.
