Terrific place to spend time with family, children AND dogs along the Brisbane river. Great play areas. Wonderful café. Love the food and how a special cooked chicken dog dish is included on the menu. All very clean and well maintained. Well done ICC. Will visit again soon.

Magnificent park with plenty of grass area and includes a beautiful lake for water activities. Eatery on sites and several walking tracks. 🚶♀️ 👌
Great park for picnic and plenty of shade. Children will enjoy this location.

What a lovely place, went to a car show at Colleges crossing today and sat and had an amazing burger and an iced coffee. So nice for everyone and families. Great amenities.

Arrived on a busy day and enjoyed the car show, lots of classic cars to check out but not a huge crowd. Service unfortunately was slow as the Cafe was quite busy. Ordered coffee and it was luke warm at best, not worth the wait. I would go again and give it another try though.

The food was alright and the prices are reasonable. The flavoured iced tea is tasty. The views are stunning with lots of bird and fish activity to watch on the water.

Must try their chicken sandwiches and beef burger. Nature views of the river are amazing with diverse bird life. The staff were friendly and good with suggestions.

I haven't been here for a long time, years. The whole area has been transformed into the most beautiful parklands with playgrounds, toilets and seating areas. The cafe which overlooks the water, catches glorious breezes and serves great drinks and food. Highly recommended!

Terrible service. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes, 3 employees saw us, ignored us and walked past us twice without acknowledging us. And then the employees started to close down the shop (including service door in our face) still without acknowledging us. Absolutely disgusted.

The location is what is most enjoyable about Colleges by the River- we took the dogs for a walk along the river and then they were able to sit at this outdoor cafe with us for lunch. It's a very relaxed vibe and while the food is basic and the service a little slow, it still makes for an enjoyable day out.

Lives up to its reputation for friendly service and stunning iced teas. An outdoor cafe overlooking the Brisbane River. Leisurely drive through the Brisbane's western suburbs. Friend also raved about the turmeric latte - best ever!

My wife and I haven't been for quite sometime, so we thought we would try you again for a brunch, today Saturday. Unfortunately the experience was less than enjoyable. We could probably have accepted the worlds most uncomfortable chairs, We probably could have accepted the fact that the girl on the till had no idea what I was ordering, when I ordered a blackberry soda, even though it was the promoted special on the board, 40cm from where she was stationed, at the order window. We probably could have accepted the fact, that once I had explained to her what the blackberry soda was, she took the order and the money, only to wait until we had almost finished our brunch for them to come and tell us they were out of stock of that soda (was still on the specials board when we left) We probably could have lived with the fact that I specifically, and made a big point of it, asked, for runny poached eggs, however I received fried eggs. We probably could have lived with the toast that was only buttered in the middle, none around the edges. We probably could have lived with the single spoonful of baked beans. We probably could have lived with the bacon which appeared to have been cooked in a microwave and not on a hotplate, it was like rubber. And we probably could have lived with the tasteless club sandwich, however; We can't live with the single sandwich slice of tomato, as the grilled tomato listed on the big breakfast option on the menu. Seriously one lousy single slice of tomato, that has to be the worst thing I have ever experienced in cost savings exercises. It will certainly cut your costs, because if you continue with this sort of thing no one will come and you won't need to order tomatoes at all anymore.

I like the homey essence. Ladies are very friendly. I do think the food prices are a bit over the top but still what I have eaten I have enjoyed. If I was to have a problem I think they would fix it for me with a smile.

A big let down again. Unfortunately it starts at the service counter. Having to repeat everything you order a number of times tells me some ones not listening and then when they repeat it back to you it sounds like someone else's order. It doesn't help them when other staff are constantly coming up behind them asking questions. And while you're ordering, other customers who forgot to grab their cutlery and sugar, or salt and pepper which is never on the tables, excuse themselves while you stand back from ordering to let them in to grab it (put the cutlery etc over to the side) There's a sign to get your cutlery but you can't see it, it's behind the cutlery holder. Staff walk around delivering drinks with their fingers all over the top of the glass, one girl was playing with the top of the straw while she looked for the customer. Food is ordinary, cheap white bread looks like it is from coles or woolies, margarine made the thin slices of hand cut bread soggy and had no substance. My omelette was like rubber and I had to use a knife to cut it. Not sure how these are cooked, either bought frozen premade or poured into small omelette pan and forgotten about. I ordered large full milk flat white coffee and received a cappuccino made with soy milk and the cup was swimming in coffee in the saucer. My partner received no ordered drink. The location is excellent, tho the flys are a pest, the staff are pleasant but are obviously not trained, the days of touching the top of drink ware are gone, replaced by customers who are hoping for the best in hygiene. BTW when I told staff I probably had another customers coffee and mine was flat white they stared at me thinking, said they'd go check and didn't come back. It's just training.

Mrs G. Great food. Friendly staff. Service was great and the view is fabulous. What's not to like.

Found the coffee was great but the lunch we had was a bit ordinary.
