Been here 3 times and always had the ribs. Cooked to perfection and deleived with a smile. Will be back to smash another fullrack next time I'm in town.
We have come here a few times & it's been really nice, the atmosphere is great & staff are very helpful & friendly. The steak, eye fillet in particular is amazing, definitely worth the money!
Great lunch, good price.. Had the pulled pork roll and ceasar salad. Both delicious and at a good price. Excellent chips!
Thursday Steak Night is great value, quality is a bit hit and miss though. Some weeks the sirlion is amazing and you get a generous portion, others it is tiny and really bad.
In general meal prices are quite high considering this is a local pub, we wont go any other night than Thursday because you can get better Ribs and Steaks at either cheaper or the same prices elsewhere.
Overall a good enough pub meal but definate room for improvement.
Service is ok, but staff are unwilling to accommodate small changes, eg. Wanted no chips but asked if i could get extra salad instead = answer no.
Zesty BBQ Ribs. One of the most consistent pubs in the bracken ridge Sandgate, Deagon, brighton region!! When we want a good pub meal and reasonable prices this where we go! And if u want an entre that not a bread try the zesty BBQ ribs! Yumo! The service and staff are great and and if u have any problems they're happy to help and don't make you feel unfortable and get in your face about the whole thing, which I have unfortunately experiences at other pubs!
Alright these are the best ribs in brisbane... baby back ribs with plum sauce. Tender and fall of the bone. Do yourself a favour and get the ribs
Decent but boring. We eat here a lot as it is our local. Pretty standard pub food type menu with standard prices. The meals are usually tasty. Service is ok and what you'd expect from that kind of venue.
HOWEVER, I can't remember the last time the menu changed. I am so bored with the current menu that we've started looking for other places to eat! What happened to chefs changing menus seasonally? You can keep the favorites like ribs and steak but mix it up based on fresh produce for goodness sake.

Panama Jack's is a great place to get a great feed. The staff are friendly and polite. The restaurant has been refitted and looks great. I was there on Saturday night and the food was very good. I ate a rib-eye medium rare and the steak was perfectly cooked. They also have a dessert bar, they make thick-shakes, among other things. They have a wide range of menu items to choose from. You can sit inside or outside in a covered self contained garden environment. So if your looking for a place to go to dinner put this very high on your list. They also have an adult's bar, and a poker machines in a self-contained area not visible to the restaurant. So I personally recommend Panama Jack's very highly.
As walk-ins the entire experience was magnificent from the waitress(Shania) finding us a suitable table and some explanation of the menu. Fantastic disposition, friendly and cheery. We only had mains, both meals were good sized and very delicious. I had the Braised Beef Cheeks. Excellent veges were cooked perfectly, hot with a chunch. Meal was hot to the last spoonful. Wait staff member (Shanon) check that our meals were good. I highly recommend Panama Jack's,,, Top Spot for a quality feed. And plenty of parking for a Saturday night. Disability parks could be a little bit wider for larger vehicles.
Great steak, rib meat just fell off the bone as well as the slow cooked beef cheek. Efficient and friendly service too. Nice cosy ambience
The kids chicken tenders meal is fabulous and its nice to see in a kids meal a salad and not your usual chips and burger, nugget and chips combo. I like they have that option. Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere.
We all loved our food and the atmosphere. Oysters Kirkpatrick were beautiful 😍 and my other half's steak was delicious
