Lunch here with a girl friend.
Ordered the potato cake and a waffle dessert both dishes are awesome and delicious.
Fresh food. Delightful environment. Clean, stylish and lovely place for lunch.
Only thing is menu option is a bit limited.
But I will still give 5 stars for both service and food quality 👍🏼
Coffee are fantastic too.
I adore this Camp Hill goodie! The staff are awesome, the food and coffee are excellent and the decor is just superb. This cafe is the quintessential local corner shop.
Tucked away on a residential street is this lovely, fresh, minimalist gem. There is plenty of street parking, and although this is quite a small café, we didn't have any problems getting a table and a highchair.
We bought our dog and tied him up out the front, and the staff bought him some water and were very friendly to him.
We ordered soy cappuccinos for us, and a baby cappuccino ($1 - great value) for the toddler. I ordered the pumpkin waffles ($18.50) which were out-of-this-world delicious, and my husband ordered the heirloom tomato and olive brushetta ($17) which was very nice but unfortunately he came home hungry as it wasn't substantial enough (main complaint was that it only came with a sandwich-thickness slice of bread - a thicker slice, or two slices would be more satisfying). Overall, a very lovely and friendly suburban café, I'd go there again.
After our favourite cafe 'Cirque' closed in New Farm we were concerned about finding one that measured up. What a surprise to find in the local suburbs this gem. Once a corner store in the '70s, now the best cafe in Brisbane for breakfast and lunch and you can book ahead. By the way the food is sublime and the service is great. I recommend you get in an eat and get out to let other people have a go.
A great mix of reasonably priced traditional and mediterranean-inspired mod-oz breakfasts and lunch choices. I had a tagine omelette which was served piping hot in a clay dish with flatbread, and the others had salmon fishcakes with greens, or the short rib beef hash. Good coffee, located away from the busy end of Martha St.
I'd eat there again. Well worth it.
Was there early morning, had the best fresh muffin! It was blueberry and I got it take away.
Okay everyone let me tell you about my experience... it looks good so I naturally buy one. Pick it up, it's still warm, almost hot! As soon as I enter my car, close the door the air is filled with the sweet satisfying aroma of this amazing muffin.
My first bite, literal heaven. Just the perfect amount of resistance to my teeth. Just enough to be classified as 'crunch' the berries were so juice, the muffin fluffy.
Serious literal heaven.
Brava ladies!
When you walk in the decor is fresh, minimal and interesting. Where is that giant sideboard from???? I was informed everything is made on the premises which Is great because that's what I love about a place. In fact if I could click my fingers and be there, im dying for a coffee and something from the cake stand. Yum. Will visit again
Food is nice and coffee was well made. Not a lot of seating so can get very busy very quickly. Good location though with parking plentiful.
