For the first time, I tried Mexican food At Guzman y Gomez and I absolutely loved it. It is a place that I always go back there however the self service section, can be more organised e.g always there is rotten coriander in the container.
This place was my first every experience with Guzman Y Gomez back in 2012 when I saw a massive line for free burritos. Ever since then I have been hooked and Guzman Y Gomez in general is my go to Mexican restaurant. This has also been my local GYG since then the the quality, consistency and service has never dropped and I have never been disappointed.
I really like this Guzman. Food is identical to the rest of the chains but I enjoy the service here - even when they are swamped they seem to process everyone quickly. Easy, fast, predictable shopping centre food.
My everyday Go to. Being a vegetarian, options of delicious yet veg food are very rare in australia. But these Veg Nachos with extra hot sauce is my staple. Such fresh ingredients and the tangy sauces never go wrong. Quick service, fun music, yum yum mexican food. The perfect everyday meal. Burritos and nachos here are the best.
Dont even aim for quesadillas though, they come in such small portions you might not even know when you finished them.
All in all, grab that extra cheese and guacamole. Wont regret ever. π
Pretty good, though I found the nachos heavy and thick with cheese, so I couldn't finish all of it. I recommend asking for no cheese on top, as you will most likely feel heavy afterwards. But excepting that, I did enjoy my meal, especially in their modern - but - Mexican setting, with layers of cacti serving as walls.
100% my favourite Mexican place and nothing can beat it. Come here once a week to get my all time fave the enchilada. The lady who is there frequently has even remembered my order. Could not be any more happy with how fast their service is and the quality of their food. Could not recommend this place anymore !!

Beef burrito is a winner and the fries are tasty. Honestly can't fault the food I have got from here at all
This GYG has very generous serves. I got my usual nachos with spicy pulled pork and it was a huge serve.
Service is friendly and efficient as expected.
The only downer was that the salsa bar was not well stocked, it was mostly empty and the coriander had seen better days. That said we visited after the lunch rush (2pm) so perhaps it had just been cleaned out by hungry lunchers.
Love the burritos here, better than the burrito bar.. Chicken with added guac and sour cream is my staple!! Good sized burritos, tasty condiments, love it!
Not much to say except absolutely epic. Fresh salsa. Perfect burrito. Could eat this every day. Reasonably priced πππππππππππππ
Well maintained, good food. Only qualm is that when they are quite busy, the quality of the food drops, which is understandable and isn't always the case, but on some occasions I have gotten underfried chips or slightly cold burritos. Despite this, I still recommend this as the food is often exceptional.
