Needing a Ramen hit we visit for lunch. On arrival, we are warmly greeted by the friendly waitress. We quickly place our order before the arrival of the lunchtime crowd.
I recall that Ramen presentation here is not a high priority when my Ramen Champion is served. Never mind, the Ramen and Tonkotsu broth are both good. My complimentary Ramen makes this a satisfying meal.
Phuong Tran’s Black Champion looks appetising and she enjoys her meal. We will return next year!
Delicious ramen noodle house in Sunnybank. Their flavours is on the lighter side, but you can always spice it up with condiments. Pretty good and gives Hakataya a good competition in this heavily competitive market in Sunny B
My family and I purchased 5 Ramens for takeaway we all shared our different flavours, Black Ramen, Spicy, Smokey & standard Ramen our favourite was the Smokey Ramen, they packaged it up so well for takeaway everything compiled well the noodles were so delicious & the broth was jam packed with flavour, we will be back again and hopefully get to dine in next time!
They give you one extra free noodle with you're ramen. The have a good variety of selection. Their gyzoa are decent.
Good ramen, generous with the toppings especially with the vegetarian variant.
The broth is a little strong so I can never finish the whole bowl.
Best ramen in Brisbane! The chicken Karaage and it’s special dipping sauce is amazing!! The egg is perfect as well, the only thing to fault is the broth can be quite salty by the end of the bowl! Friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommend and any friend I’ve brought to try always go back!
Ordered the veggie ramen made out of mushroom broth. First time trying vegetarian ramen, and I was pleasantly surprised by how flavoursome the broth was. Add a teaspoon of crushed garlic available at the counter to amp up the flavour even more.
Definitely recommend trying the veggie ramen even if you’re not vegetarian. Noodles could be a tad more al dente but it was still okay.
Have not been back 9 months so arranged to have a quick dinner last night. One thing that made me very disappointed was the Chashu Aburi has been removed from the menu! That interrupted my mood to enjoy the noodles. Finally, we decided to go for the Black Champion, Miso Champion and Karaage instead of our a-must order of Chashu Aburi. Needless to say, I would order the Sapporo beer and extra bowl of noodle. Overall standard keep consistent and the Karaage is not an alternative to Chashu Aburi, thumb-up!

Craving for Ramen since the unforgettable Ramen at Tsuta (the first one Michelin star Ramen@ Tokyo) in early April so went for this Ramen for rescue. It has been nearly three years since my last review. Menu has not changed much but there is a good news that they start to serve Vegetarian Ramen, which will be good for my Vegetarian Day. Ordered the Spicy Champion and the Prawn Champion with additional dish of Chashu Aburi. The minced pork on top of the spicy ramen gave me really a good kick of "fire" but that should be the way to be called "spicy". Noodles were as good as before. Loved the prawn oil and dehydrated prawns in the Prawn Champion, which really delivered very strong taste of prawns. Additional dish of Chashu was hero of the night, there were nearly 16 pcs of flame grilled Chashu on the dish that absolutely satisfied me and anyone who loves Chashu.... Cheers!

Had a quick dinner at Ramen Champion. Ordered the "Signature Ramen", new "Spicy Prawn Ramen" and Gyoza. Soup bases were good particularly the Prawn Ramen. I think the film of reduced prawn oil on the top is the hero. Cha Siu was blown by fire touch before it was putting on the table, which reduce the fatty feeling from the belly pork. Ramen was al dante but Gyoza was a little bit let down. Service is friendly.
It’s 2019, so I thought I’d start off my reviewing year with an absolutely ridiculous(ly good) recommendation - Ramen Champion.
I’ve been to a lot of the mainstream ramen places in Brisbane (Hakataya, Hai Hai etc) but there’s something about Ramen Champion that sets it apart from the rest.
The broth - it is so freaking flavoursome and addictive. I’m not sure if it’s MSG or something else used as the base of the soup, but it’s delicious. The depth of flavour is really good and tastes thick (not a watery broth if that makes sense??).
The noodles are cooked to perfection and the pork literally melts in your mouth. Now to my favourite part of a bowl of ramen - the eggs !!!!! At Ramen Champion, each bowl comes with 2 perfectly cooked egg halves which is a refreshing change to other ramen joints. They are really gooey and the salty/soy flavour is prominent!
Another highlight of this wonderful place is the kaarage chicken. When it arrives on the table, it’s steaming hot. Each piece is incredibly crispy and when accompanied with the somewhat lemony mayonnaise, every bite is a little bite of heaven.
I’d really recommend coming here, enjoy!
I chose miso ramen and it was a pleasant surprise, not very overly salty and soup have depth of flavour. For $16.9 it's pretty good value considering you can get 2 free refills of noodles. I decided to go with 1 free fill and was full. Probably ate over 200g of noodles. Customer service was good, very friendly and food came out quickly. There's no card surcharge which is nice. If you're craving for Japanese ramen or a quick meal or comfort food on a Winter's day look no further.
The best ramen I've had in Brisbane! The broth is really rich and reminds me of ramen in Japan! 🍜 😋
Karaage is also very delicious and is a very good price with the beer set.
You can taste the soy sauce in the karaage crust which is exactly how it's made in Japan! It comes with a mayo base dip but honestly it's not even needed!! 😆
Whether you want to get a very delicious ramen, or just have a quick karaage bite with beer, I highly recommend this place!
They also have gyoza set, which I haven't tried yet. I'm sure it's delicious too!
My next mission will be to get their gyoza and tell you how amazing they were too! 😁
Went to do take on their challenge spontaneously. Food was great, broth was thick and full of flavour. Pork strips were at the perfect thickness for me at this portion and the noodles was a solid portion. Definitely will be coming back to try the other flavours soon. Staff were friendly and nice.
Spicy champion & black champion
$14.5 each and free noodles
😍
I like spicy food, lucky there was spicy sauce free that we can add by our self. For pickle lover, there is ginger pickle and garlic too
Ramen Champion is located in Sunnypark shopping centre alongside some other Asian restaurants. There is a lot of parking available.
Here’s what we got :
• Black Champion ($14.50)
• Miso Champion ($14.90)
• Karaage ($8.50)
You can get free extra noodles upto 2 times! Both ramen were quite good but I’d say my favourite was the karaage 🤣
The portion size of the ramen was was very good for the price, considering that you could get free noodles as well.
The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the restaurant had a nice ambience with seating available both inside and outside 🙌
The soup base is very rich, the meat in the ramen was also fantastic.the first 2 times extra ramen is free.
The food here was so good. The noodles were thin but still firm, the roast pork was absolutely perfect - fatty and meaty and packed full of flavour and melt in the mouth tender. The broth was amazing too. Well worth a visit!
Love this place! My go to is the Smokey Ramen with some gyoza and a ice cold beer off the tap. Best Ramen in Brisbane!
