Have not been back to this local gem over one and a half year so checked it out this morning. Not sure if it has changed the management but certainly the food and beverage keep the consistent standard.
Ordered the flat white to go with a Rasberry muffin. Coffee was prepared with right strength to my palate and the muffin was good in terms of its soft texture.
I could not find fault at all; particularly the service is so sincere and proficient.
A full mark case is deserved this time.

Love it more after the management has changed. Higer quality food and coffee and cleaner. seeing so many mum and toddler in the cafe. super baby-friendly.
Great place to enjoy a coffee with friends and family, or even with a book! The coffee was quite special and I love the environment! However, I think the kitchen ventilation needs to be improved.
Nice cafe in suburbs, inside and outside areas. Had two fully loaded breakfasts, with bacon replaced by avocado. Avocado and hash browns were really good. Soy cap good, Zymil cap average. Pretty quiet inside on Saturday morning. Bacon smell from kitchen. The ventilation system needs improvement.

Service was friendly. Food came out in reasonable timing. Food is well presented and portioned for what they are charging. They have a cute alfresco area with black boards and colouring books for younger children to stay occupied. It was a relaxing atmosphere with good food. Coffee is not too bad either.
Finally managed a visit to Hedge, after having it bookmarked for quite some time now thanks to Imco! The place was very quiet so I wandered around taking in the rustic charm of the interior courtyard. Of course we had the pooch with us so sat outside on some stools. Ordered a flat white & inquired if the coffee was strong & he advised the double shot. Pleased he did because the coffee could have been a tad stronger for me even with the double shot. The coffee was beautifully presented & had all the rich delicate flavors & aromas I was expecting.
Tried here as it was he only cafe that appeared to be open on Anzac Day. Beautiful decor ordered a chai latte which was good. It's not in a well known area -wouldn't drive past here usually but would come again if in the area.
Hedge Espresso has always been on the back of my mind 'Reminder: Go there, remember!'
Here I am today 🙌🏻 Arriving at 9:50am I realise there are 2 tables filled with early customers, food already finished and just sitting there enjoying their coffee. Making my way to the counter I grab their menu, not long after checking it out I decided on the Hedge Omelette (I think that's what it's called) with Ham&Cheese. Mocha Coffee on the side for this morning 🙃
The Coffee consisted a good amount of chocolate and caffeine, no complaints :) The Omelette came to the table hot, folded in half and was served with relish. I found the Omelette itself a little bland as there wasn't much flavours going on (bonus: if there were more fillings inside 🙌🏻) Other than that, it was nice and fluffy. A simple breakfast to start the day!!

Just had a lovely breakfast here. The corn and zucchini fritter tasted amazing. Definitely a must try. The portion is a bit small maybe because it tasted so good I wanted more. The Mocha could've had a little bit more chocolate in it (tasted more like a cappucino) but it didnt worry me too much. So I am still giving 5 stars.
Fantastic coffee. So good ! Food are superb as well. Absolutely 5-stars rating cafe. Love it. Corn fritter is definitely one of the best I have tasted in brisbane.
Nice little place with staff to match. Really happy with the espresso I had.
Very interesting banana bread. Was surprised that it came with honey, but it was good nevertheless.
Babyccino is basically just milk (no froth) which might not be appealing to some. It might be better to just buy your kid a milkshake if so

This is a little haven in the southern suburbs. Coffee is consistently great and the chef clearly knows what they’re doing (recommend the duck pancakes and the burger!). Staff are always friendly and up for a chat. This has become the local go-to for us.
Dropped by to collect a coffee for my mother in law, who works at the local christian college and loves this place. It's quiet, cosey and has a great looking (and tasty) menu, the milkshake I ordered myself was fantastic.
Really great place for a brunch date this morning with my SO, wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious. Service was super quick, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the kickstart to our day!
