Visited Merlos for a coffee hit after lunch. This Cafe is super popular for their takeaway coffee and I join the queue. My Cafe Latte is intense and full flavoured, my best coffee this month! Thank you William!

Dropped in this Merlo cafe this morning after nearly 4 yrs after my last review. I was lucky to get a parking spot due to early in the morning around 7:30am. There were at least 3-4 baristas working at the same time to keep up the pace for the orders.
I placed a take-away small flat white and it only took five minutes wait. Coffee was no doubt consistently good, hot and strong in strength. Not a bad place to drop in for quick refill of caffeine. Cheers!

Do you remember that I love the blue Merlo coffee cup at Nikka Latte. I also love the white one at Merlo Paddington. Bypassed this cafe many times and I eventually made it last Sunday morning. Everyone seemed like to order Take away coffees from this spot so I was the only one sitting inside the cafe. My gaze was so busy looking at all the coffee beans and accessories. It was definitely a good experience and a perfect match to have the coffee with the Merlo coffee cup (not the paper cup) in Merlo coffee shop. I like it so much......

Merlo is hectic as hell. Every weekday morning its popularity causes the kind of traffic chaos which leaves me baffled at human behaviour. Manic. When we needed coffee beans this weekend & had to run the gauntlet, we thanked all things holy for being within easy walking distance...as we manoeuvred around a giant delivery truck blocking the footpath out front while the driver got their coffee fix. Ergh.
But inside, Team Merlo are killing it: energised and profeshe & managing the mayhem with aplomb & fresh smiles on their dials. We pulled up seats in the dining area while the takeaway trade churned constantly on at a frantic pace.
Coffee tin refills are $10 & come with a complimentary coffee of your choice - today it was a perfectly made espresso to match our espresso beans.
From the range of treats (protein balls, muffins, slices, cookies), we each scoffed one of our beloved I Heart Brownies. Suddenly the hassle was all worthwhile & the angst melts away. Caffeine & chocolate fixes everything.
