Megan and I went to Victoria Park to attempt to hit some balls at the driving range. She did a great job, and well, I was there. So obviously we went for dumplings to discuss our newfound skills afterwards!. This (newer) Fat Dumpling is on the strip of restaurants that popped up in Bowen Hills on King Street not so long ago.

We had my daughter's 15th birthday celebration here. It couldn't have been better. We mentioned it was a birthday celebration and found the staff (whom we didn't know) had personally funded stunning balloon displays and accommodated all our needs (including keeping our ice cream cake frozen). They are a beautiful, kind bunch of people and this is reflected in the wonderful food. We love dumplings and this restaurant is becoming our favourite. As a vegetarian, there are good options, especially delicious shallot pancakes. We have found the service prompt and friendly. Thank you!

Dumplins are my favorite, I can eat quite a few. The juicy pan fried dumplins go very well with alchohol of my choice, and it stirs up Interesting conversation when in a group. jibber-jabbering over dumplings and alchohol with good friends tapas style was quite a good way to spend a weekend afternoon.
