This place does the best salt and pepper calama
ri. But sometimes it can have a little too much salt depending on who makes it. Fish is nice but make sure if you want battered to ask, places these days seem to do crumbed unless you ask for battered. Chips are normally quite nice too with the chicken salt.
Been here for the past few years, my family's favourite. always do phone order during peak times. They have a new juice bar and coffee just opened cpl months ago i think. Discovered this after gym last Saturday The juice always fresh and the coffee is amazing and really cheap. Definetely deserve a 5* from me and the kids.
Consistency in this place is definitely something they take pride on, if you think fish and chips, go to this place. Not over priced usually feed myself and my wife for around $20~
Food is always great as the service ,go all the time . Good if u want to eat in or just take away, my favourite is the family meals abd extra calamari
Always find the food here consistently good. Chips are nice, big fat ones, not skinny fries. One small serve is more than enough for 2 adults. Not the quickest place when it's busy, but phone ahead is the best way. Update: Jan 2017 - still the best fish and chips around !!
Update: Oct 2018 - best value and quality of all the shops in and around Forest Lake, during the week quicker than peak times. The homemade coleslaw is really good too !! #bestchipsever

This place quite good to satisfy a fish and chips craving. The fish was nicely cooked and the chips were hot and crunchy with the right amount of chicken salt

Best fish and chips around (and we've tried most of them!). Chips and fish are always hot and crunchy, calamari is tender and also crisp. Only variation is in the shape of the fillets and how nice the lemons are which is ingredients not cooking. Really reasonable prices too, highly recommend :)
My favourite Fish & Chip shop in QLD. Food is always to my liking, but the real treat are their deep fried mars bars, which I often take to my parents house in Forest Lake when they're hosting their family dinners (I will literally order 10, they're that great).
Order via phone and come on time to beat out the at the counter orderers, usually find between 5 - 6pm their fastest and best time period to order.
Quite good. The sides are excellent, very good chips, crunchy exterior fluffy interior. The Greek salad is hands down the best I've ever had (worth visiting just for the chips and salad!). The let down was the fish itself - I ordered the salmon and it was slightly overcooked. The owner seems to be good at taking feedback, so I doubt the issue will recur.
If you're in the mood for fish and chips, this place is well worth a look.
