Yesterday, we visited Sheesh Mahal and thoroughly enjoyed our Indian lunch quickly prepared by an owner/chef from Delhi. The starters of Vegetable Samosas and Onion Bhaji were perfectly prepared. A chef’s special followed, Lamb Nihaari, consisting of chopped lamb shanks, slow cooked in aromatic herbs and spices. This dish was a first for us and we loved it! Full flavoured Chicken Madras, Peas Pulao, condiments, rice and hot fresh stuffed Naans completed our meal. We were very satisfied with the service, prices, entertaining conversation with the owner and loved the food. Can definitely recommend this restaurant and will most certainly return.
LOVED the chicken jalfrezi! The garlic naan was delicious too! We also enjoyed the chicken sagwala which was tasty! The great bonus is that all curries come with rice, and the lady is happy to refill the rice at any time!
