Basically my first visit to this plate. Came in for lunch had the seafood platter with chips and salad 🥗 and my friend had bacon 🥓 and egg toasted sandwich. Food was pretty dull looking. The waitress with dark hair wearing reading 👓 who took the food to the table , felt like she didn't want to be there she looked unhappy . She was quite abrupt. Definitely a let down . I hope Management is taking on board all this feedback as I've noticed majority of negative feedback is regarding their attitude and customer service.

It's not often I get a lime thickshake and have it done perfectly. The menu has something for everyone's tastes and the staff are friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and the tables are spaced pretty well apart so it's not a tight squeeze.
Will definitely have to come back and try more of the menu

Level 3 toowong Village, just under the top ceilings which give the tables natural light. Very nice place, near to the library and not too noisy and spacious. Best spot for a lunch or brunch in the village.

I've worked in a kitchen for two years now and I was shown just how smoothly this kitchen runs. Me and my partner ordered the toasted sourdough with avocado, feta, hash browns and a poached egg for breakfast and it came out in about 6 minutes and was probably the best avotoast I have had. Very good value for money, quick and well plated. My only problem is that it's at the top floor of a shopping centre. If it was it's own store and had a bit more atmosphere I would come here every day.

Great place for breakfast, the green juice is delicious and the strawberry milkshake is fabulous! Great avo on toast and Eggs Benedict.

Terrible customer service
The lady's working where rude. They can't swap bacon for baked beans (bacon is $5 extra, baked beans are $3 extra), my friend finished hers before our even came out, they messed up our other friends meal and had to take it back, we ordered a half of avocado and the meals only come with a 1/4.
Not impressed and we won't come back

Food is consistent. I have had the same meal here for lunch often and it's always yum. Waiting time is really good and pricing is decent.

I thought the social media measures here were very good. They actually have the tables far enough apart to feel safe. The chai latte was the first I have had in a long time that wasn't too sweet. My daughter really loved the pancakes although I personally wouldn't use tinned peaches..she enjoyed them anyway. The assistant was busy but kept the tables nice and clean.

Phuong Tran and I visit for a light lunch. We decide to try their Bagels which were on special at $11-12. I decide on the Ham & Cheese and PT opts for the Smoked Salmon.

The Bagels were served piping hot from the grill and were delicious. I recommend these Bagels as a cheap tasty meal.

I just found it was very average food and service, convenient location but Toowong has so many options so a little underwhelming compared to nearby competitors.

Very Disappointing.

I was part of group and was sitting closest to the service area and one staff member just dumped the coffees in front of me and walked off, leaving it up to me identify the owner and pass it down the table. I have never seen before.

My risotto was sloppy with piece of boiled chicken, complete with skin attached, floating in the rice soup.

We visited this cafe again for a light breakfast. We usually like the food, service and environment here compared with other cafes in a shopping centre.
My coffee was cold though. Cutlery didn’t come with the food and coffee arrived after food. But it was only this time. It never happened other times we visited this cafe. I would give them 3.5/5.
——————————————
July 2017
It is a nice casual cafe in the shopping centre. I've been to this cafe for coffee several times which was nice. Food is also nice but nothing special about it. I also like the environment and decor as an indoor cafe.

Overall, just okay. The food is a tad expensive for what you get. I had the beef burger and chips which was tasty but the side salad was underwhelming (undressed leaves, two pieces of cucumber and two cherry tomatoes). Husband had the smoked salmon open sandwich which was quite small. He also had the mango smoothie which was largely just undrinkable foam... very disappointing for $8.

I love this place! Oh how it makes a difference when the staff recognise your face, when they show interest in there customers. They are fast serving food, they make an amazing coffee and play classic 40's - 70's music. Plus the atmosphere and cafe fit out really make this place more of a lounge. I love it so much its worth writing about.
