Grabbed some take away fish and chips from Grilled Fish on Sunday night. We got the value pack (cod, calamari, chips, 2 dim sims) and a Greek salad. The cod was a bit dry but everything else was delicious! The staff were friendly and quick.
No exaggeration best fish and chips (and burger) I've ever had in my life. Chicken burger was great value for money, crumbed fish and chips were perfectly made, no excess oil. Homemade tartare sauce was amazing. This place will ruin fish and chips everywhere for me.
Love the burgers and loveeeeee the cheese fries ! Best fish and chips ever too. Always fresh, crunchy and delicious. The three options of crumbed, grilled and battered are always of top standard ! Service is amazing
A great takeaway! As someone else said...eating fish and chips often leaves you with a feeling of regret, but not this place! The batter was light and crunchy and decent serving sizes. First time we have tried it and found the calamari and snapper fresh and tasty. Friendly staff and fast service. Will definitely go back!
I am lucky enough to live within a 5 minute drive. This would have to be one of the most reliable and consistent takeaway food shops in Brisbane! You can't beat it for a convenient Sunday treat for dinner. The calamari is amazing and the fish is always fresh and well cooked. Staff are super friendly too so they've got a loyal customer here.

I live nearby and usually grab one of the "meals" where you get fish, chips, salad and can of drink for around $15.Good variety of fish, grilled, crumbed or fried. Chips are always good. I usually get the greek salad which is not too bad and fresh. Service is always good and friendly. Recommended.

Awesome burgers. This place is meant to be a fish and chips place but I really like the burgers here, in particular the chicken burger, though the fish burger is quite good too. The fish and chips is decent too, at least it is far healtheir and not as greasy as many other places.
Scintillating Seafood. I cannot rave about this place enough, easily the best fish and chips in Brisbane. Everything is of a very high quality; the shop is immaculate and the owners and staff are extremely friendly and efficient. The beer battered chips is a must to accompany any meal. An order from Grilled fish has become a weekly tradition, a truly wonderful find.
I order through DoorDash from here regularly and my food is always served hot to me. The whiting is beautiful and give the beer battered chips a go - yum! I'm a very happy customer of Grilled Fish, Clayfield.
Freshest fat piece of cod with excellent crispy batter. Get the beer battered chips. EDIT - ordered a 2nd time couple weeks later, thin piece of average cod with overly thick batter. Beer battered chips still good. 5* down to 3*.
