Karam looked after us tonight. We came in with a group of 29 people and he accommodated for us including giving us generous servings of sides.
I haven’t been to Bandido in ages because the one near me (browns plains) refuses to give extra basting. I will drive the extra 5 mins to come here. The girl who served me was lovely and I got my extra basting 😁
Recently I had a not quite satisfied dining experience at Nando of Morningside (the chicken breast was dried), so just wonder if there would be any better by just ordering the thigh meats only. Dropped in the Calamvale Central Nando to have the experiment. Wow, the feeling of first step in was attracted by the contemporary fit out of the shop. It looks great! I then order the planned chicken thighs with salad. It took around at least five minutes for preparation, which indicated that they cooked it freshly. Well, my experiment proved positive that the chicken was juice with appropriate hotness of the peri peri sauce. Having together with the salad, it made me the healthy dinner feeling. It proves that there is always some place doing the right thing even it is a chain store.
Great service, always clean and chicken is consistent. Given this is a franchise there is little to differentiate from other Nando's but the above mentioned points give this place a good name.
This Nando's can get quite busy through dinner time, so if you are ordering a take away be prepared for a little wait. I came her for dinner one night after work and ordered the Paella and a side of chips. It's a nice touch that Nandos puts aside sauces you can choose from free of charge (when you dine in). I always enjoy the paella from nandos but even the mild can be quite hot!
I've been here for dinner several times since it's my closest Nando's from home. I was surprised to find such a nice looking restaurant in the Calamvale shopping corner because it looks so run down but it has the typical Nando's furniture and colour scheme.
I've only ordered takeaway from them but there's enough tables for a busy night as well as couches next to the front counter to sit while you wait. The employees are very friendly and funny as well as quick for service. The meals are always delicious as well and my favourite meal is the classic wrap but sometimes I go just to get those amazing peri-peri chips.
Food from this Nandos is always fresh and quick ! Been here so many times and it never fails to please. The new range on their menu has definitely been satisfying and tasty as well

The drinks menu on the table and the holder looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly ever but apart from that all ok.
Went here agter visiting IKEA because it was on the way and we were famished. It was a very pleasant surprise. The place is nice and the staff were super helpful. The portions, especially the chicken, seemed more substantial than at some outlets. All in all a very pleasanteal. Looking forward to going back.
had a great experience at this nandos today. my workplace had a member leaving and we wanted to place a large group order for her last day. we didnt realise it needed to be ordered in advance. the girls still took our order and were lovely/friendly when they easily could have said no. they somehow managed to prepare 12 whole chickens + 10 giant bags of chips for us within 45-60mins. it was fresh and really tasty and there wasn't one error. thank you to the nandos girls (eliza was one of the girls names i think) for providing such great food and service!
