Absolutely incredible, food came out very fast and the staff were very friendly.
Chicken curry and the salt and pepper prawns were delicious, perfectly cooked and to die for.
Topped off with some of the best special fried rice I’ve ever had.
Will 10000% be back!

Fresh and very tasty dishes. Friendly and prompt service, too.
We look forward to trying more of the menu!
There are pictures of popular menu items adorning the walls, to help you decide what to order.
Also, there are plenty of condiments on the table, if you want to spice things up

Been visiting this Vietnamese restaurant for 35 years. Lately, the food has varied from average to very good depending on who is in the kitchen. I like the Pho Dac Biet which can rate between 3 to 5 depending on the Chef on duty.

I was stuck at Darra Station, only one shop that sold banh mi's accepted credit card, I seldom carry cash. It's not clean but the food is cheap. The pork banh mi was basic but quite delicious.

Great pho and the duck herb soup is really nice.We also had salt and pepper calamari, duck and plum sauce, bun bo hue and spring rolls and wontons..yumyyy!!!!
Still one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane. The food here is amazing and never fails to delight our taste buds.
I come here all the time and have never had one bad meal. 10 out of 5 STARS.

Went today to get some food as everything was closed. First time to eat here and this will be the last. This place has some food safety/handling issue! Staffs are not wearing gloves in this pandemic!! Unbelievable! I confronted the older staff about how she’s not wearing any gloves while handling the food (Banh Mi), including the other staffs at the kitchen..My boyfriend and I both saw this and she denied by saying she used a tong??. She heated the Banh mi but straight up took it with her hands. Sorry but this needs to be fixed because this is how you can spread the virus.. Please wear gloves!

We have dined here since the 80’s. Five minutes from home, this restaurant is popular with our family. I visit for a snack and order a Grilled Chicken and Salad Banh Mi. Freshly made, this Banh Mi hits the spot. Thank you Guys!

Fresh, tasty & authentic. We went yesterday & both has the pancakes. Crispy & delicious, served with lot's of lettuce & mint. Lemon drink was tasty too. I'd definitely go back.

I have not eaten quail for such a long time so did not expect to try it in Darra, a suburb I have not visited before. We also got to try the mud crab from their supposed hidden menu...i guess only local knows!!

It is very nice and tasty. I went here with my Vietnamese friend. She said this restaurant is authentic food. I was not disappointed to be here. I certainly recommend this restaurant. Very very delicious!!!! Yummy!!!!

Ordered takeaway to cater for 12 people and Cam Ranh did not disappoint. The service was fantastic - they even carried our big order to the car for us. Generous servings at a great price. The omelette and beef ho fun were highlights. We'll be back again for sure.

If you're looking for a headache, immense thirst and a stomach ache then this is the place to go. An order was placed here to feed a group of us (takeaway) and I was not impressed when it arrived. The fried whole flounder was loaded with MSG particles, which could clearly be seen, fried tofu was bland and oily, stir fry beans were passable, combination crispy chow mien tasted like water mixed with MSG. The one thing they did alright was noodle which was crispy. I can't comment on the service or decor as we did takeaway. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 rating. For me it's 0.5/10.

We had always enjoyed the crab there, however on this particular occasion we had pre-ordered and was assured that there would be some for us when we get there. Upon arrival we were told there's none left! Totally disappointed.

Will NOT go back again! NOT recommended!!. We visited recently for a family lunch. Waitress was friendly. However food was bad. The beef in the vermicelli salad has gone bad, the pork chop in the four colours rice was overcooked.. rice was overcooked too which was very hard and they stick to the teeth..!! the tea from their vacuum flask was foul.. it tastes like an old tea towel.. just disgusting! I don't think they worth any stars for food safety!
Then when we paid for the bill, they overcharged us for $5!! Did they do it on purpose? Who knows?!
And the toilet was disgusting.. my mom had to hold it until we got home..

Unfortunately the restaurant I remember is gone. While still a fairly decent suburban eatery if has lost points on several areas. One of its old attractions was the lack or sophistication and polish which was made up by the extremely cheap proving. So cheap that I would recommend inner city friends make the journey to try the excellent food. Sadly the prices have increased and the quality has slipped since the new owners have taken over. The charm has gone. For anyone in the city contemplating the trip.... Don't bother anymore better and cheaper are available I'm the valley.

Used to be great. This restaurant was super popular about until 4 or 5 years ago.

There used to be a friendly waiter who called all customer "my friend!".

When he left things changed. No more lines of 20 people on weekends and no more great crabs or Pho to enjoy.

Has it changed hands?. I've heard about this place for years. People raved about it. I drove passed one night and the place was packed and the footpath was pumping with big tables of customers digging into crab.

So I finally book a table there last weekend and find the place has every table inside full (no tables outside at all). And as customers leave, no other groups arrive to fill the place. So the atmosphere just died. Made me think that the place must have gone downhill or changed hands.

The crab prices were higher than what I'd read online, but no biggie. They were massive meals regardless and nice to eat. But I wouldn't drive all the way from the CBD to Darra just to eat their crabs.

The other dishes were nice but nothing out of the ordinary. Some strange king prawn dish was the only downer. Salt and pepper soft shell crab was delicious.

I had a chat with the owner later on in the evening and found out she's had the place for one year? Don't know. Her accent was pretty thick so it was hard to understand her. Can anyone else confirm this?

Otherwise it was good for suburban asian food but not amazing for Darra. So we left satisfied but disappointed.

We came here for crab and crab we ordered. Crabs were $45 per kg and the young guy insisted we couldn't order just 1kg of crab as we need to order more. So, we ended up with 3 dishes with rice and a dessert (3 colour drinks) each which brings the total to $106 for the 3 of us. I guess it's no longer cheap but I was pretty happy with the quality of food (except for the service)
Crab tasted ok. But not wonderfully fresh. The brains taste really sweet when it’s fresh but this time I found it to be slightly bitter. The noodles for the chow mein also slightly too crunchy, not absorbing the gravy enough.
Food Bling Brisbane
My quest to visit as many of Brisbane's Vietnamese restaurants as I can this time led me to Cam Ranh at Darra. We had tried to get into Que Huong, but it looked packed and when we arrived a Chinese dragon was dancing through the restaurant to the sound of
