Great location overlooking the river and lovely service.
We were notified ahead of time for the wait and the new QR ordering system was absolutely great. I definitely prefer that to the coffee club menus since every item had a photo and checkout was super simple.

The food is awesome and the location is superb. You can eat overlooking at the Brisbane river..
They have some offer going on right now that if you visit and scan there QR code you get three coffees which is a good deal..

Had a delicious breakfast after a night out, really hit the spot. Amazing staff, Hannah checked in with us to make sure we were ok, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely eat there again for the service alone.

Very good location but staff is very slow especially the waitress.
It is not normal to long wait for a coffee and a croissant. Also, I gave my order by choosing from the phone and marked it as extra hot, almost a cold coffee came. It's impossible not to get angry.
I just wanted a coffee and a croissant, come on guys, but it's not that hard.If you can't keep up, you should work with more staff.

The Coffee Club is a passable cafe. Staff are nice and reasonably friendly. The service is often very slow though. We ordered coffees to come before food on this visit, the food too around 30 minutes, the cafe was very quiet, and still the coffees arrived after the food.
The food here is reasonably good, though the wait time can get very long, so for quick bites it's not the best.
It also gets very noisy here, which can be far from relaxing. Plus on cold wet days it's far from comfortable here
OK cafe.

Took 9 students from The Hotel School Brisbane for an end of semester coffee. The waiter (Lily?) did an outstanding job serving us. Drinks and food were delivered promptly and efficiently. I was impressed with how well they coped with a large group. I usually avoid chain store coffee but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

Nice location by the river. Staff very friendly. We ordered 2 meals, poached eggs on toast and a classic cheeseburger + coffees.
Coffees were nice ! Food was very average. Eggs were good but on top of cold toast (like cardboard). Cheeseburger was a lukewarm hard burger with salad and stone cold pieces of cheese on top, inside a hard toasted bun, the cheese was so cold it didn’t melt and the burger wasn’t hot enough to melt it, chips also luke warm. Very disappointing.

Frappe was full of big obvious ice chunks and half liquid.... Eggs Benedict didn't even have buttered bread, thrown together at Super speed, very basic presentation. Lots of people complaining about wait times all around me. Staff were very good about it and friendly but they need more cooks apparently... I won't be coming back.

Food- We had our morning brekie here. Ordered cream waffle with berries and mushroom omelette and coffee. The waffle was not very soft, it was pretty hard. The mushroom omelette was pretty yummy
Customer service- What is so difficult to smile?? The servers didn’t seem to be happy, looked pretty sad
Value for money- Decent
Ambience- like Regular coffee clubs

The worst from service, to taste, to time for meals/ drinks to come out.
Honestly I have never experienced such appalling service.
The barista was obviously having a bad morning, however made it very clear to patrons by slamming items/fridge doors, swearing/yelling & talking very rudely to 1 waitress in particular & then talking inappropriately about her to another waiter (swearing/saying she was hopeless) it really gave a horrible vibe to Sunday morning breakfast. We actually complained about his behaviour & the head waitress was very apologetic (not that she needed to be as it was him) she then spoke to him.
Our iced coffees, lacked flavour & weren’t pleasant to drink. After being told it be a 45 min wait for meals to come out I asked if I could just have a croissant & if it be as long as a wait, she replied “no, we’ve just got to toast it, that will be quick”

Sooo... after waiting close to an hour, I went up to the counter & explained that we’ve been waiting almost 1 hour for 1 toasted croissant, I then asked if I could get it take away. After waiting another 15 mins my partner wasn’t impressed & we decided to just leave without the croissant 😭.

It’s so disappointing as location of this Coffee Club is prime & they have some good breakfast options listed, however...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

While the crispy chicken burger tasted nice overall, here is the breakdown:
- Asked for glass of water when ordering, didn't get.
- Crispy chicken burger doesn't use real chicken breast
- Chips were undercooked and not very well seasoned
- No napkins provided with cutlery

The worst experience ever!
Such a waste of location and view.
My friend and I ordered 2 coffees and breakfast. I got my coffee 20 min later and my friend got it 30 min later and it was cold. We had to wait another 45 min for our mains to arrive and it was really bad. We had to ask at least three times for water.
I aslo overheard the woman on the table next to us complining about her food to the waiter and pointed that her food was "aweful".
I will never go there even if I'm starving and they are offering me free food.

Amazing views over the brisbane river. I highly recommend the ice latte and smoothies. The waitress was lovely and friendly. Great for a sunny breakfast!

How long can it take to serve food - nice wait staff, great location, but the kitchen is a disaster!. It took 1hr 20m to get a starter and even then it wasn't what we ordered!

This is a café - the food is café standard, not in anyway fine dining - lift your game!

The coffee was pretty good, but if you are going to serve Avo smash with feta, make sure there is actually feta in it!

This restaurant offered the worst service I have experienced for a long time. The man with the Canadian accent was only interested in talking about himself- no service from him. We asked 4 different staff members fir water and finally got some on the final attempt. The dessert was delivered before the sandwich. We needed to ask for cutlery for both. Food was overpriced and formulaic. Will well and truly steer clear in the future.

Lovely view and setting, had the option of outside or inside with air conditioning. Was busy but the service was friendly and excellent. Will come again.

Coffee Club - Brisbane CBD. Eagle Street Pier has a view that is hard to argue with in Brisbane, a shot of the wide river with the bridge over to neighbouring Fortitude Valley. It is in the corporate part of the district, ergo it is immensely popular with all the business people during the lunch rush and for pre-dinner drinks on Fridays. One of them is the audience pleaser that is Coffee Club. There are reasons to it, but I still find that Coffee Club could be a lot better.

I managed to go along doing some baby-sitting with my niece, while my big sister had a lawyer meeting with a couple of other people. Since it was the nearing Riparian Plaza (a definite hotbed for Eagle Street Pier clientele) this was chosen as it had a lot of free tables and other places were busy. Time was of the essence, so better than nothing.

This place I will give credit, is clean and the service is efficient. The food is not that bad; however, it errs on the safe side. It is often bland and mediocre.

I got a caramel thickshake to drink, which was pretty good. The consistency certainly lived up to the namesake and they did not skimp on anything. This gets the due credit.

My lunch order was the Cajun chicken strips, which came with a side of fries, a simple salad and honey mustard sauce - I put the sauce to the side. The fries were actually well cooked, they were crispy outside and soft and fluffy on the inside; the chicken strips were pretty blah. Sometimes they were dried out, and the flavouring on the outside was indistinct. The salad was quite fresh and healthy on the side with bright, various colours.

Again, it is reiterated that Coffee Club is some people's idea of a place to go and eat; that does not apply to me.

Good view, good coffee. Visited here on a weekday, fast service, and food was well prepared and came out quickly.

One of the best coffee clubs that I know of. Great view and service and the food is the high standard of other coffee clubs.

Even if you love the view...don't do it!. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and I was expecting it to be busy, but being in such a great location and surrounded by 5 star resturants I was ready for some great food. Didn't happen. Our coffees came 20 minutes after we ordered and then another 20 minutes for breakfast to arrive. The coffees were luke warm and bitter. I ordered the French toast which was delivered without the syrup and the toast was undercooked - filled with the raw egg mixture. Couldn't eat it. My husband ordered the bacon and egg bagel which looked to be just thrown together and put on a plate. Ended up leaving and getting a McDonalds breakfast which was a thrid of the price and tasted much better!

The view is great. The service was OK. The food was medicre at best. The salad had not been washed an left grit in the mouth. Won't be back.

The Coffee Club is not the first place that comes to mind when we think of dining out, especially when we have so many other favourties and many more places to try out. I don't think that we would have eaten there if not for the fact that we had a coupon. Would we come here again? Not at full price, but it would be possible with a coupon again, maybe.
