Holy Basil. Is an amazing place to dine. With friendly staff and a great atmosphere Holy Basil is probably one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The Chicken Satay Noodle is by far the tastiest and most satisfying dish I have had so far. Quaint and intermit, Holy Basil Windsor is a good choice for couples and single diners. Thank you to Holy Basil Windsor for making my experience well and truly enjoyable.
Tried the sukiyaki noodle lunch special and it was great! Fresh ingredients, tasty sauce, and vegetables. Included with a drink. Friendly service and fast. Will be going back!
We've been there more than 5 times. The best authentic Thai restaurant we've found in Brisbane.
Service is prompt and friendly, only a short wait for food to arrive.
The chef is pleased to discuss the menu and make adjustments for personal taste.
Decor is bright, music very low volume, airco on or off at request.
Best part is the food. The menu is extensive and we're still working our way through.
This is not a restaurant for dumbed down Thai, as you sometimes get.
All the dishes we've tried were full of flavour, perfectly prepared and served.
The crispy skin duck soup is as good s it gets.
BYO with no corkage.
Cannot recommend highly enough.
There is free parking behind the restaurant, access via Legeyt Street Windsor.

EDIT 22/09/18:
came here for pad thai with chicken, gluten free. unfortunately the pad thai was really REALLY oily that i was quite put off by it but everything else was great. rating has been adjusted slightly :(
ORIGINAL:
wow my first 5star rating! i came when they first opened. although they don’t specify what’s gluten free i was told by the owner that they could make most dishes gluten and dairy free, which was great!
i grabbed the chicken laksa - super tasty. maybe not the best laksa i’ve ever had but it was pretty good nonetheless. portion sizes were decent for its price. chicken was well cooked, not too dry.
friends grabbed the tomyum noodle soup and the lamb shank. tomyum was great. lamb shank wasn’t my fave but it was a very large portion, which was great. flavour could’ve been more spicy imo. also lamb shank is definitely not gluten free LOL
got the black rice pudding — it’s listed as vegan but since they just opened they couldn’t make the ice cream so we just got standard vanilla instead of smth homemade. i’m keen to come again and try their dairy free ice cream~ the rest of it was pretty good but i think maybe a tad expensive for its price
ambience is decent, liked the decorations. i think what cements this place as a fave is how nice and friendly the owner is.
keen to come again and try their other foods, probs during their lunch specials ($12.90!!)
Craved for Thai and found this brand new Thai restaurant. The service was quite prompt and polite. We got served straight away once we stepped in. The chef came out to say hello and recommended her specials. We decided to go for a stir fry chicken Cha Cha, crispy pork with chilli and basil, and Siam noodle. All the food was well presented with nice herbal aroma. Happy with the food taste and how nice they were cooked though a bit too sweet. The crispy pork was sort of dry and way too salty. The chef surprised us with a complementary dessert-fried roti filled with banana and served with coconut ice cream. It’s such a perfect flavour and texture completing our dining experience beautifully. Thank you for the first impression. Will be back to try other “very Thai” dishes.
