While the food here is good, the staff have been extremely rude and dismissive in past experiences. We ordered Thai green curry and were sent a spicy oily dish instead which tasted nothing like Thai green - called up and was told the correct item was given to me (even though I had the complete wrong thing in front of me at home). They didn't care to rectify the issue, so we didn't feel comfortable ordering again. Picture attached since they don't want to believe they sent the wrong item :)

I have driven past this restaurant for 13 years and finally my wife and I dined in on Saturday night. Wow I am so glad we did. The food was so tasty and the portion size was quite substantial. We will definitely be going back.
They have an entrance just for takeaway orders and a section for dine in.

The portions are on the larger size, always hot and delicious!
The honey chicken is massive with great honey flavour and crispy batter, the Mongolian lamb is a favourite of my partner.
Honestly just a really good Chinese takeaway

One of the best Chinese restaurants on the north side of Brisbane. Have ordered from here a lot and have never been disappointed with any of the meals. Highly recommended and will only order our Chinese from the Lotus Room.

The place is clean however the buffet isn't so great. It's not the usual busy yum cha places where it has a trolley or counter full of dishes for you to select. It's made to order which means it's fresh, so that's good. The selection is ok but the items aren't all the regular items that would see at other restaurants. Eg the fried prawn dumplings would usually have the yellow casing but the ones here were deep fried gyozas. I don't want to tear this place apart but I didn't enjoy it. It almost seemed like thier selection is from a frozen food department at costco or something and presentation could be better.

Wow what an amazing experience!!. My first try if yum cha and I was not disappointed. Restaurant is in. Busy area with lots of parking and is well set out inside. Staff were amazing and so friendly and accommodating. Food was out of this world , very fresh and tasty. Bring bigger pants as you will explode with how much food you get. .

It is a great Takeaway Restaurant! I have never eaten in! I have, However, bought takeaway honey chicken & fried rice! It's pleasantly presented! The food is excellent & fresh! Reasonably priced as well! Situated on Wardel St Enoggera! Next door to a Dry Cleaner who is also a seamstress! Small parking area! Wheelchair access is available plus wheelchair parking is also available! Yum cha for $22.00 a person! Last night on the 20th June my girlfriend & I ordered takeaway! I ordered the large special fried rice & the honey chicken which was $25.00 My girlfriend ordered the Sechwan chicken & sauce plus a small special fried rice! My chicken & rice filled my boyfriend & I up! ♨️🔥🤩😍😎It was delicious!

After sussing out this restaurant I considered calling up Gordon Ramsay to sort this place out.
First of all they gave us one menu to share between all of us which was extremely annoying. My special fried rice came out and hardly had any extra ingredients besides 2 mini shrimps hiding on the plate. There was a massive chunk of rice stuck together and even with my Folk I could not break it up, it was that hard !!
As I’ll look over to the wall next to me I noticed food stains on the wall .
About half way through our meal we got 2 extra dishes and one of the dishes wasn’t what we ordered, so we called over the waitress and it was hard to explain for there was a language barrier between us, she then came back and told us what we ordered was out of stock. So I’m guessing they tired to give us something else thinking we wouldn’t notice. You would think if your in a restaurant a waitress would inform the customer if they are out of stock with a dish but in this restaurant it’s not the case.
Even though the food was horrible we couldn’t stop laughing all Lunch because it just got worst and they only thing we could do is laugh at how bad everything was from the food to the service.
To top the lunch off we ordered this custard egg looking dish and the picture of it on the menu looked like 2 eggs you could say ... when we got it , looked nothing like the picture just had custard shoved in the middle
The bill came to 81 dollars ....... I was better off eating some toast
This is my first complaint towards a restaurant and I actually just signed up to Zomato for I thought it was the right thing to do. Don’t waste your money

And to be honest the best thing I had was my can of sprite lol

Scrolling through my mental refidex of adjectives, the most relevant to this $19.80 p/p all you can eat buffet yum cha experience (in no particular order) are:

•rancid •putrid •oily •amateur •parched •utensil-less •neglected •missing •meagre •overpriced •random •incorrect •apathetic •sad •lost potential •relief.

Connect the dots people.

Half point for the coy fish pond which I remember fondly from many years ago.

Although the food was prepared quickly (we were pretty much the only ones in the restaurant), the fact that it was very mediocre and expensive, this will be a first and last time for this place. Won’t be back.

Worst Chinese restaurant I've been to in Brisbane. The only thing special about the "special fried rice" is it bland dry texture, it's a challenge to get it that bad. The other dishes were disgusting. It was only because I was hungry, that I had some. Whilst I ate I thought two things. 1. Whether I'm keeping this as leftovers or really waste the money I paid and dump it all. 2. How good my $2 cup noodles were for lunch. Avoid.

Saturday night takeaway. This place is a joke. Ordered two meals and rice, upon arriving at this restaurant, there was a large group of disgruntled people gathered in and around the entryway.
So due to the crowd, I could not enter the front desk area, although I could see that it was completely unattended. After about 5 minutes of waiting around with no explanation, I started asking around, turns out everyone was waiting for their pickup order too but had not even been able to talk to a staff member yet!
FINALLY someone appeared only to zip off before I could get in the door! Once I was able to get to the counter and a staff member appeared (15 minutes later btw) she states that yes my order was ready, it was right here, she had called it out around 20 minutes ago. I explained that we could not actually get in the door, due to customers milling about everywhere and no staff to direct and attend anyone!
She proceeded to shrug and giggle at my complaint, oh and then of course charge me full price without so much as an apology or explanation as to why no staff had been attendeding to customers at front door!
Now once this despicable, incomprehensible display of "customer service" has occurred it is hard to have an open mind to what you're about to eat. Well, as presumed, it was cold and soggy. I actually had to put the spring rolls in the oven as they were not even cooked, at all.
It's really no wonder they have had to close the dine-in restaurant part of this establishment.
Disgraceful

Not Impressed. Ordered some takeaway the other night and once we got it home and opened it all up a putrid smell of garbage was coming from the chili squid container. The smell of this meal was so horrendous it made all 3 of us dry reach and even after throwing in the outside bin the smell lingered. Have ordered from there before and never had a problem but this was disgusting and I refuse to ever eat food from there again. Ended up eating 2 minute noodles for dinner instead as the smell turned us right off.

Awful. We got take away from here tonight. Honey chicken was ordinary - offcuts with a greasy, fatty batter. Beef with Cashew was diabolical. Very salty, really tasteless meat. Bland and looked like frozen vegetables with a jar of Kantong (actually that would have been nicer). The steamed dim sims were okay, I didn't love them, but they were alright. Fried rice was bone-dry and must have been two day old rice at best. Would be lucky if three of us got through one-tenth of the meals between us. The rest got binned. Still hungry as I type this....This pic is what we threw out. There were no other containers. Will not be going back. Will stick with Mr Wong's in Wilston (if only they would pick up their phone)...

Greasy yucky. This used to be solid, dependable local Chinese.
Now its too hit and miss...sometimes good, sometimes disgusting like last nights takeaway..you know its bad when even the 14yo baulks at the 1cm layer of oil sitting on top of the tasty beef, and your simple request of stir fry green chinese vegetables in oyster sauce is presented in the container limp and swimming in an ocean of watery sauce...as a soup! Spring rolls were OK but still greasy and fried rice was gluggy but not inedible. Lemon chicken was v. good! I just dont understand this place anymore. Maybe the good chef has left??

Yummmmmmm. Had dinner there tonight & it was just lovely. Really nice food. Not cheap, but not super expensive. We had the 1/2 Peking Duck which was delicious, and the Mixed seafood in the fried potato basket - this dish was amazing!!! Would order it every time!
The people were very friendly & lovely to our kids and service was very quick!
Highly recommend!

Classic Australian Chinese. Ok food and slightly over priced. $69 for two dishes, rice and tea. No alcohol. 6/10

My favorite Chinese restaurant! Great service, great tasty food, decent prices! Cute Chinese themed atmosphere. It's really not expensive with main meals starting around $12-$15. I would drive the 20 - 30 mins from my house just to get their food even though there's about 5 Chinese restaurants within 5 mins of my house. Fav food there- dim sims, spring rolls, special fried rice, duck in plum or lemon sauce, honey or lemon chicken, deep fried icecream.

Consistantly Great Chinese. We have dined here several times now, and every time has been exceptional. The service is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. If you order a meal with a certain flavour e.g. garlic, do not expect them to be stingy. The portion sizes are large and satisfying and good value for the prices. A must try (a regular late night dessert choice personally) is the caramel flavoured deep fried ice-cream. A-Mazing. Do not judge it until you try it. Highly reccomended.
