I have been to this venue twice now and can't fault one thing about the exceptional customer service to the mouth watering food great value for money and so fresh the food was the highlight of my experience and it is definitely my new place to eat out �
We just had my daughter's 18th birthday here and on a very busy night with multiple parties going on the food came out quickly and the service was excellent as always. Our party was in the beer garden which was the perfect venue for us. Pato and the team delivered again, great food great service great night.
Eating at The Spotted Dog is always a pleasure. Nestled inside the Railway Hotel, the food, service and atmosphere are great. Their menu covers a wide variety of foods that provides ample choice. Serving sizes are generous and some might need a take-home container, allowing them to enjoy the meal a second time. Whether your meal be a juicy melt in the mouth steak, a garden fresh salad or a plate of fresh seafood straight from the Bundaberg wharf, there's nothing on the menu I haven't enjoyed.
Friendly and helpful are the words used to describe team looking after your dining experience. What ever your need, a friendly face is there to assist you.

Nicest food in Bundy. Just been today for my second time here and can’t fault a thing. Two of us both had two different starters and two different mains and each one was amazing. The gravy is really nice also. Will definitely be back. Staff lovely as well.
The staff are amazing.. we sat outside in the alfresco area cause of our dog and 1 of the ladies came out with water and a little bit of cooked chicken for him..
We had the roast pork and veg and it came with crackle and apple sauce..

What a great place book ahead as very busy but we didn't wait long for our meals, waygu 300g steak was perfectly cooked x 3 tender as and the lamb shank fell of the bone with every bit.
Lots of staff so no wait for anything you want toppled of with ice cream cones, will return. Sorry didn't take any photos as forgot, I just started hoovering down the big steak.

Interesting because the train line is around 20 metres from the side of the hotel restaurant.
For train enthusiasts its a must.
3 stars only because of the patron noise inside all rooms are open to the restaurant as it's the main part of the hotel.
Pork Madagascar was my husband's pick - loved it. We were a party of 16 and all were more that happy with the food and service. Always assured of a warm welcome and efficient service.
Now this is a pub. Reasonable priced meals and beers/drinks plus friendly staff. Our meals were very nice and on time. The place was very busy, we were a group of 11. As swatsanagger says " we will be back."
