Very nice variety, many dishes to choose from, the buffet was colourful and vibrant. My favourite was a sashimi platter with raw salmon and the Hainan chicken dish was delicious. Very friendly and attentive. Kid friendly and spacious for big groups. I haven’t been here in ages and tonight was very surprisingly still yummy. Great visit overall.
We had lunch at China Bowl on 17th Sept. The food is tasty and there is a large variety. However, where we were sitting we noticed that the glass was very dirty and this definitely did not look good and gave the impression that they need to hire cleaners to make the place look more inviting. There were a lot of people there when we arrived and the Jasmine Tea had finished. So if you go there at around 11.30 - 12 Noon things would be different. It is definitely value for money and you can eat as much as you want and enjoy a variety of Chinese dishes. The pork and duck dishes were tasty. Chicken sweet & sour was also good.
AYCE lunch buffet is such a great deal- for $36 pp you get really good quality seafood, noodles, meat, yumcha and even dessert.
Standout dishes were the custard buns, fried noodles and the salted egg chicken ribs - I could not get enough of these !
😱Lizzie’s first impression: I have been to a fair few buffets in my life and I can honestly say this is one of my favourites
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: they have a wide selection of foods from seafood, to a noodle station, even an area for Peking duck too. Was quite impressed with the sushi and sashimi station too. It’s quite big so it’s not cramped and many different varieties of asian cuisine to choose from.
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: its more asian based so don’t come in here trying to find other cuisines
🥇Lizzie rates overall: it has a wide selection of asian foods but it’s probably not worth it if you’re not a big eater
Visited China Bar for buffet dinner on a Friday night. We used a Groupon and was able to save $30 (for three people). The seafood section was generous and fresh. I loved the assortment of sushi and sashimi. The salads were nice except for the chicken coleslaw which tasted a bit off. Aside from that, the hot food was delicious. The yum cha / dim sim section was wonderful as was all those deep fried goodies. The potato wedges were crisp on the outside, thick cut, and fluffy on the inside. As for dessert, there was a good choice from ice cream to fruit to cakes and Panna Cottas. Overall we had a wonderful time and we felt full even the next day!

Great atmosphere, good selection of food! Great customer service, tho the people who stir fry the noodles can be abit rush but that’s normally how chefs are who works in kitchen. The noodles are made to order, great flavours, wok flavour is very very strong! Love it ! Will be back again.
Been here twice, it’s quite a nice selection of food available. Staff are quick to remove plates and make sure your table is ready for the next round of plates! Variety is quite good if you can get to what you want without having to compete with the hoards of people trying to get first dibs on the seafood!!
Visit here once/twice per year, service is nice, and foods are good and worth the price.
Definitely need to try once if you haven’t try it.
A wide range of fresh seafood, roast duck, roast pork, stir fry, dim sum and desserts are available to be packed on to your plate. The wagyu beef was the highlight, it was tender and cooked medium-well done. Staff are attentive.
Food is good as it is fresh and a variety of food and drinks. Easy to access by bus and tram. Prices are a bit expensive for one person. Staff and service are good and friendly.
