What an absolute gem - a real jewel in the West. Coffee was the best I have had in the area, and the food looks amazing!
What really makes this place worth a visit is the staff - especially George and Belinda (the owners) who treat every customer like they are old friends
Awesome vibe with great staff - very friendly and fantastic food. I ordered the iced coffee (yum) and the pigs and chook (nice and filling), my sister ordered the soy hot chocolate, hazelnut french toast (daily special), and a caramel slice. Portions were filling without being too heavy. Would definitely recommend to others, and would definitely return.
It was a super humid day and while it was windy, the wind wasn’t helping us to stay cool. We had just visited K-mart, helping our friend grab a few big items as she had just moved into her own place, so we were looking for a quick bite to eat. After a quick look at google maps, my friend spotted Mrs P’s Coffee! So we decided to give it a go.
Great coffee and delicious food! Even the muffins and cakes look excellent although I don't have a sweet tooth.Moving from years in the city to working in Burwood I was dreading the coffee scenario and lack of healthy options. Ms. Ps definitely tops lots of places in the CBD for coffee and even food. The menu dishes aren't priced for an "Everyday lunch price" for most of us office peons but worth a once a week splurge at least. There are also options in the little window thing - sandwiches and pies etc which are cheaper. Great and friendly staff despite how busy they are.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere of Mrs P’s. Coffee was so beautiful. It was creamy and smooth and the coffee art was very pretty. Delish Fish Dish was delicious and everything on the plate complimented each other well. The Braised Beef was also delicious but beef was a tad bit dry. Peanut Butter Waffles were amazing! The combination of steaming hot waffles with a sweet berry compote will never go wrong. I was ready to try their infamous French Toast but it was all sold out by the time we got there. But there’s always a next time.
Good service and good food. A tight little cafe located in the heart of Burwood with a menu different to usual cafes. A large variety of wholesome food that’s delicious, even though the portions are on the smaller side.

Lived in Burwood for 4 years and this has been the one and only real café here and it has great coffee, great food, and staff are friendly - real café people. Just can't say more about the delicious menu. Recently moved away from this area, this is the only food place I miss. :)
I love visiting new cafes and Mrs P’s is one of them. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know I love a good soy chocolate. Mrs P’s offers nice soy hot chocolate and a good range of cafe food, also enjoyed the friendly service.
This sunny little cafe is located off the main street of Burwood, which is possibly why I’ve only just recently discovered it although it has been around for six years. Run by a friendly husband and wife team, the coffee is by local roaster Reformatory Lab and is highly recommended for a creamy, full-bodied cappuccino.
My absolute go-to for a weekend brunch and daily muffins. Brekkie, as always, is the best in this local, cozy cafe. The salmon with potato dish was just divine, as was the caramelized pork. Salmon dish is perfectly healthy so I will probably have this once a week till I get bored of it. They also offer a self-sauce section which is always great.
Daily specials tend to get sold out, so get in early. I have also noticed they get pretty busy during lunchtimes so plan wisely.
Had to wait a couple of mins to get a table but the food was worth it. The peanut butter waffles were really good! The coffee was great too. 👍🏻
Consistent local gem serving comfort, homey brunch at a reasonable price at burwood. With all these new “insta-worthy” cafes popping up at burwood, Mrs P’s still my favourite in the neighbourhood, and the staff at Mrs P’s are always lovely.
