The staff here are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere of the place makes you feel like you're in a hip cafe in Newtown or Surry Hills. I love the open kitchen and the natural light. I come to The Usual Cafe every few weeks and whilst the menu changes are regular, the consistency of the food never changes - it's always delicious. I love trying their new creations (and eating the classics).
Came to order two coffees on a hot Saturday, and the service provided by the staff was 10/10. They gave us a place to sit outside and finish our sandwiches (bought from a different store) and offered us some cool water - even though we only ordered takeaway coffees. We did not expect to be looked after so well and were blown away by how friendly and attentive the staff were.
Also, the coffees were delicious.
Have already recommended this cafe to friends, and will definitely be coming back when we’re in the area. Thanks guys! :D
Great brunch spot! Highly recommend the eggs benny because everything with bacon is LIFE! Coffees were perfect too, their mochas are particularly great.
Exceptional food time and time again. Modern, delicious and right up there with the sheik cafes in the city but it’s location means it shares toilet facilities with Cabramatta Dutton St car park which was gross! That’s was the only downer!!
I’ve been here a couple of times now and have enjoyed it both times. Service is friendly and food is yummy. Be prepared to wait on the weekends though.
Best cafe in cabramatta! The menu gets changed up every now and then with the seasons but they have a good variety. I’ve been here multiple times but on this occasion I was craving eggs Benedict in a croissant. It wasn’t on the menu but the staff were happy to switch out the English muffin for a croissant! They make the best coffee in cabra and it’s quick too. Wish they used oat milk here! Staff are very friendly.

My husband & I had brunch here on a sunday, was busy but in a good way, for us we saw it as a place that people clearly love to come too. What we loved before even stepping inside was the location, away from the main thoroughfare, behind the main strip of shops, resturants etc. Was a lil mission trying to find it but it was a pleasant surprise, like a hidden treasure amongst the hussle & bussle of Cabramatta.
From the get go, staff were kind, super friendly & made us feel welcomed. Ambience is calm, no loud blaring music in your face, which is nice for a change! Everyone was smiley behind the counter, a tell sign that customer service will be genuine.
We ordered drinks first then our food. Taro iced latte was tasty. My strawberry hot latte was lovely.
Next came the food & it was de-lic-iousss!
The best ricotta pancakes Ive tasted thus far! I loved the presentation. My husband had the big breakfast, he enjoyed it. He saved me a portion and I did the same for him, we finished everything it was that good!
We both agreed the portion size was perfect as well, not too big, not too small. We stayed a little longer after our meals chatting, & I ordered a matcha latte before we left it was perfect! We are avid foodies & are trying out many places, but the Usual is a place we have put down as a definite return for us!
The smoked salmon eggs benny lacked flavour and some punch. The salmon itself was slightly fishy and there wasn’t enough acidity in the hollandaise sauce to cut through that. Whereas, the fish tacos was mouthwatering delicious. The creaminess of the guacamole, acidity of the pickled cabbage and spiciness of the jalapeños aioli was just perfect.
foods here are so delicious, can see their passion of cooking and high quality! Friendly staff! Pancake is so soft, pumpkin soup has strong pumpkin taste. Green tea frappe with cream😋definitely come back again!! Not easy to find the place, but good food really need time to find out:)

Good quality food and presentation. Nice little hidden cafe and staff were really friendly. The kale fritters were surprisingly delicious. They serve up some good coffee too.
The Usual Cafe is a nice, quaint cafe close to Cabramatta station. We ordered the green smoothie and avocado toast. Both were presented nicely and tasted good, however not unalike to your typical cafe food.
The BEST chilli scrambled eggs and shakshuka I’ve had! Super quick service too. Will definitely come back.
Great service! Bought my dog and they were happy to bring a table and bowl of water outside for us. Very friendly staff who happy to help accommodate. Food was delicious, we smashed our lunches! Such a great local cafe for Cabra
Such a beautiful cafe and amazing food. The staff are so lovely. The kitchen closes at 2pm but we were coming in a little past 2 so we called ahead to check and they were so accommodating, they kept the kitchen open late just for us. The food is so gorgeous aesthetically and tastes amazing, good portions and the prices are decent. Incredible service.
Excellent customer service from the moment you step in to walking out. The friendly casual vibe makes it all worth coming every morning for the coffee run. Coffee is superb and of course the service from Thanh and The Usual Cafe team!
The best cafe you can get in Cabramatta, with a beautiful aesthetic and delicious food at a reasonable price (compared to other cafes in Sydney). The food arrives quickly and it was an enjoyable experience. I ordered the Korean Chicken Burger and it also came with the side of fries for only a price of $17! Their drinks menu also had many options to choose from - I highly recommend ordering their dessert latte drinks (I ordered taro). Would go again!

Amazing and kind service. We felt comfortable even as the last ones sitting inside, we weren’t rushed out the door. Lovely food, beautiful atmosphere. Really can’t go wrong.
Shakshuka with sourdough bread - the flavours of the tomatoey spiced sauce was on point, but sadly the eggs were a bit over cooked.
Corn fritters - Very tasty and visually appealing dish.
I'd definitely come back to try all the other delicious dishes I saw on the menu! The cafe is airy with a lot of natural light. Very relaxed vibe. Definitely does not feel like you're in Cabramatta.
