We were recommended to have dinner at Splash by a local when we were in the market. And what a delightful evening we had on our final night in Cairns. The friendly staff made us comfortable and relaxed while delivering professional service. The menu was mouthwatering with locally caught fish and seafood from this family business. The chef presented numerous options to please cultural diversity. The platting was innovative and the tastes perfectly matched to incorporate delicious flavours to tempt our palette. The wines were well matched and the complimentary musket was the perfect finish to the evening. I wish we could have fitted a dessert in but the generous main courses were more than adequate. Splash is certainly on our list when we return , especially the special lunch time menu that offers bang for your buck.

We had lunch there my wife had the seafood chowder and i had the mackerel with salad. Excellent food and service would definitely eat there again, staff and service did a top job as well making us feel welcome. Compliments to the chef and all who works there.

Wonderful chill atmosphere with ocean views, really happy and professional staff but let me tell you about the fish and chips!! Ok it's probably the most crispy and the freshest, the tastiest fish and chips I've had!! If you are standing out the front the answer is a hard yes, come in and try it!

Great attentive staff and good variety of seafood dishes. No pork, chicken, beef options just seafood and how it's matched with sauces and sides is at first unexpected but when eaten brilliant.

Pasta was a little bland, and seafood overcooked. However the seafood chowder was very good. Staff were ok, tried to charge us $15 for a Chardonnay when we ordered the $8 house white, and forgot to place our order for bruchetta. May Need a little more training.

Decided to scan the esplanade for lunch yesterday and we ended up here . perfectly cooked fish fresh chips the service was excellent , food was delicious. will definitely be back

Dinner here on Sunday night. We were served by the lovely Ellie who was very attentive, cheery and helpful. Had the chowder and chilli salt calamari for entree. Eye fillet and seafood marinara for main. All meals were delicious and a good size. Service was quick. Prices are average compared to similar restaurants. Not cheap but not expensive. I’d recommend a visit.
