Massive portions and great value for money, this place is definitely a winner for American cuisine style. The burgers are quite tasty, and they even make their own BBQ sauce onsite. One of the true gems of the Cairns suburbs.
Good smell to enter with the woodfire burning. Burger and hotdogs tasted amazing. Need to try some other loaded fries to find the flavour I prefer. Wait staff were helpful. Will be going back.
It's hard to fault our first visit. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere/decorations are nice. Menu is pretty varied with some different/interesting options. Prices can be considered on the higher side, however, absolutely worth it. We shared the Creole squid: the squid was nicely seasoned on its own but together with the salad was excellent. I had the 'Where's Timmy' burger which was a good balance of spiced hummus, sun dried tomatoes and lamb. Entree was served quickly with a slightly longer wait for mains, but not to the extent we had to ask where they were. Overall, a lovely night out and will be going back.
The "Double Barrel Shotgun" is one of the meatiest burgers I've ever had! Strictly for those in a carnivorous mood.
Burgers are good, cheesy garlic bread and cheesy fries are good. Ribs are good, are too much other stuff and couldn't fit in the chicken. If you haven't checked out this place give it a try. Will see how the steak goes before awarding my last star!
