Nice restaurant. Hot and sour soup had strong flavour of vinegar (I didn’t like it). Rest of the foods were decent. Fast service.

Not the best. We ordered the dry noodles with sauce, it tasted like salty saucy noodles, I couldn't finish it, and vegetarian dumplings which were rubbery, and fried bean curd which was nicely fried. The steamed rice so dry and clumped together, was not good at all. The restaurant also echoey, so it was hard to talk to my friend, even though we were sitting right in front of each other. I don't think I'll revisit anytime soon.

Came specifically for the Shanghai pan fried pork buns and was not disappointed! The chilli oil should get a special mention because it had enough punch to it with depth in flavour.

What I liked:
- Their food was less salty and oily than before which I appreciate
- If not for the below I would've given them a 3.5 for decent food.
What I didn't like...at all
- SERVICE. We ordered plain rice, reminded them 3 times and we finally gave up. They also forgot 1 dish which we cancelled.
- I had booking however, we had to wait 10 minutes and for them to rearrange tables, one of them had customers who were already eating... I appreciate them trying to accommodate but I felt pretty awkward...
Tip
- Do not go there when they are busy as their service goes down. Although the staff were nice, they forgot our dishes and didn't have our booked table ready.

This Chinese restaurant is one of best in Canberra so far.
Pretty clean, professional staffs, and most importantly delicious food!!
During an Easter long weekend, there was a holiday special charge $3 per person(adults for my case) and pretty crowded with a number of hungry patrons.
Wasabi Beef steak and Eggplant dishes were a bit salty but good combination with steamed rice recommended by one of staffs.
Honey friend chicken was tasty as well

Beautiful good and dumplings yum yum. The place needs to be bigger though. Too crowed and too too noisy. That’s the only fault.

I can't find any faults at all. I was hungry and wanting to have soup. After a long hours at the hair dressing salon. As I was walking along the streets heading towards Civic I walked passed the Yat Bum Tong Dumpling House and I looked at their menu. And I was curios and hungry at the same time. It was very inviting so I walked in. The staff are friendly and smiling and very polite. It's a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. As soon as I walk in they make me feel comfortable. I don't even have to wait for too long for my soup being served. They're very quick. I don't feel comfortable eating on my own at a restaurant. But at Yat Bun Tong Dumpling House I was relax and feeling comfortable eating by myself.And the food are very yummy and delicious. I'm happy and satisfied with the services and everything. I highly recommemd anyone to go and try it. You will enjoy it. It's a nice place to dine in with family and friends..Go for it.
