If you are Thai food Lover you need to try Chong Co Thai.. it has good presence all over Canberra. From Belco, Wooden to Kingston... Recently I visited their Belconnen resturant. Order my fav stuff.
In frame: Chicken Satay sticks with peanut sauce. Veg Curry puff and Spring Roll.. omg it was so crisp n yummy 😋
For mains we ordered Chicken combination rice and vegetable pad thai. Loved the crinkle on the carrot and lots of fresh veggies 👌 and for drinks it was Rose lime soda.
Ambience wise this place is so serene..with Budda statue and water fall. Whole experience was so serene. Thank you Team Chong Co Thai🥰

I've been here multiple times and I love it. The flavours are very good for a mid tier restaurant. The staff are also reasonably friendly and attentive. I had some fantastic ribs the last time I dined there.
They close off one part of the restaurant after 9pm as they begin winding down. Getting kicked out before you even finish eating almost seems almost like an authentic traditional experience at some Asian restaurants around Canberra. 🤣🤣🤣 They start clearing plates and almost nudging you with the mop as they start to clean up. I won't name and shame those restaurants. That's certainly not the case at Chong Co, at least you can take your time and eat your meal in peace.

The food is nice and served rather quickly.
The majority of the wait stuff is either oblivious or allergic to work. There was one individual that was comparatively much more efficient, but based on how the work is divided it appears he looked after the other side and not the side we were at.
- finished plates are left and not cleared for extended periods, they’ll find a spot to put the dessert and still leave the finished plates.
- it seems to be incredibly difficult to get their attention to order (if your phone is about to die or you forgot it, it may be difficult to place an order in a timely fashion)

Wow wow wow... The worst food I have eaten this year. Lucky my take away box was half empty so I didn't have to choke down more of this slop. Tasteless, more oil than in my car's engine! DO NOT EAT HERE! I would be embarrassed to serve this to even someone I hate.

The food and service are amazing! Rice was refillable, staff was very nice, and wait was not long at all.
Items from the chefs recommended menu is super good. We got soft shell crab, pork rib and lamb curry. All were delish, with soft shell crab being super amazing.

Loved the food here! Authentic thai and best part is they provide option for people who do not like spicy food! The papaya salad with soft shell crab, griled chicken, pad see ew noodles, thai fried rice, beef in black bean sauce and kana moo grob were well worth the price as the taste is excellent! We were fully satisfied and felt good after eating here. Definitely coming back here:)
