Great little place for a yummy breakfast. Quaint little cafe with big open windows for people watching. Smoothie was yummy and no problems to tweak it a little from the menu. Thanks guys I really enjoyed and will come again when in CBR. Lisa.

There is aline in the morning but they are pretty quick and efficient in getting through the orders.
Had a nice Sunday brunch. Food came out super fast and service was super attentive. It was a really quiet day and at one point I was the only diner in the cafe at 11am. My mocha ordered was on point. Note that they have Sunday prices for all their food and it is far more $ compared to every other day of the week.
This was one of the first places we stopped at in a recent visit to our capital city over the busy Xmas period. We were in dire need of coffee & breakfast after a long hike around Lake Burley Griffin. This busy cafe seemed to fit our requirements. They did a good flat white & a decent house beans. Even my scrambled eggs were good served with an ultra sweet tomato. Service was fast considering they were pretty flat out due to not much else being open.
Great for my daily coffee!. I just go to Garema for my daily coffee before work. I find the coffee to be to my liking, the staff very professional and the service incredibly fast. I stumbled across it on the "free coffee day" in November 2014. Until I saw these reviews I actually thought that was the day it opened, but looks like it has been around for a while. They have coffee cards so you can get ten medium (quite a good size) coffees for only $30

Yummy late breakfast (3.33pm). Fabulous service as the staff esp young man observant as to what was happening in the cafe. Wide range of choices. Great to see Irish breakfast tea on the menu. Thanks.

Nice Cafe with all day breakfast just across the road from the Canberra Center. Friendly staff and pleasant ambience. Food was OK and pricing was in line with all other cafes.
A bit pushy to get us in the door, but they are one of three coffee shops back to back, and they are way at the back, Once we were in and seated I found the staff helpful and courteous. The big breakfast was huge and some tasty twists over a standard big breakfast, such as the mushrooms were fried/steamed with rocket leaves and it also came with ample portions of chorizo, over and on top of the breakfast sausages. In fact my wife's salmon and smashed avo was really too generous for a breakfast meal.
The staff at Cafe Garema are really sweet and helpful, kind and patient plus the coffee is always good if not excellent!
I had a little wait before my friend arrived and kept myself amused in the comforting atmosphere amidst other happy patrons.
The Canadian French toast pancakes is a great dish. With the banana and berries it's easy to convince yourself that it is a healthy option. Certainly fills you up for the day. Friendly and speedy staff.
Got the $11 bne + regular coffee deal. So good. Should forget eating breakfast more often, it filled me right up til lunch. Keep it up guys :)
