Yes, pricing was on the high range, but it was worth every cent! We were fully satisfied even before the desserts came out.

Unique and tasty foods, that are usually locally produced. A big focus on the individual ingredients and making them shine.
The non-alcoholic pairing was also amazing. Exceptional staff and incredible interior. Highly recommend.

Explore Canberraās food industry, and Aubergine was top on the list, so did not waste my 2 days trip down to the capital, but surprisingly Aubergine is one of the best restaurant Iāve tried. Food was exceptional, the restaurantās interior was so moody covered with black colour which makes it an intimate place for dining.

What a lovely dining experience! Food was wonderful...degustation fixed menu. Each course was magical and memorable. Waiters were very polite and professional. Atmosphere lovely...able to easily have a conversation and low level lighting.. A small candle on the table would have added to ambience. I had wine with each course which added to total cost.

Just a little bit too much! Of everything except the wine! This is why these set menus have gone out the window in Sydney - we had to knock back the lamb and the pudding! And the premium wine selection for $130 seemed very pricey to me for the very small volumes poured! Very knowledgeable wine waiter - certainly could talk the talk! Overall, too much food and too little wine! Would I come back? Probably not unless something changes dramatically.

I made a mistake and did not Cancel my reservation and I had received a call on the night and missed it and when called back went to voice mail but I did not leave a message. Then 3 days latter I saw a $200 charge on my card no call to discuss or an opportunity for me to explain what had happened. I spoke to both the owner and restaurant manger to try to get at least 50% refund and was advised no. I then also tried to get a $100 credit on a new booking and in turn would of spend far more than this and was also told no.
I totally appreciate I made the mistake but to leave with a negative experience was not nice.
Please take this as a warning the restaurant totally will charge for not turning up and you have zero chance of getting it back.
