Review Signatures Restaurant - Canberra

I've always passed by this place but never gave it a chance. I'm so happy I did. On a whim a asked my mother if she'd like to try this place and off we went. I loved this place even more because they were playing music from the 90s and early 00s. Not the garbage that's out now (now I sound old). The chicken sandwich was really good and so was the big pretzel appetizer. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back!

I was at the George Clinton show on August 20th in forest hills stadium and called in here with two friends afterwards for some food and drinks. Food was tasty. Great selection of spirits and drafts. I liked the bar. The only thing I didn’t like was the attitude I was getting from one of the bartenders. The girl with the tattoos and the locs. Everything I asked for seemed like an issue to her. Asking for a side of Chipotle Mayo for my burger was the biggest inconvenience. We wanted shots of Milagros and she said she didn’t have it. We could see it on the back bar. It was unnecessary. The other guy bartending with long hair was a gent. I like the spot but that soured it for us.

This is a hotspot in Forest Hills. The food is excellent and I've always had great service. Although the place can become very crowded during the weekends and late night. They usually have a DJ on weekends but no dance floor. Good beer selection and one of the few places that have 7 day happy hour.

This place is just as ok. Went here for brunch and got two very medium tasting (but super strong) bloody Mary's. Corned beef hash was a B and the breakfast burger was nothing special. Friendly host and waiter. Better than average beer selection.

Austin Public is an awesome gastropub at the heart of the Forest Hills area in Queens. There are daily specials and happy hour. The menu is your typical American bar food, but done quite well. The price is reasonable for NYC standards. The craft beer (including Belgian beers) on tap changes frequently, so be sure to check their website to see if your favorite is on rotation. The service is very friendly and quick, but the ambiance can be quite loud depending on the night. Street parking is quite difficult, but there are public lots nearby if you do get desperate.

Happy hour at Austin public...considering all that we had the bill it self was not bad. The mule was very sweet so I would probably recommend sticking to beer.
