When we arrived here for my sisters 21st birthday. We didnt expect the good food. Her boyfriend really knew what to get. and Just wow the food was amazing.
Really big spacious environment.
high class Vietnamese food. very Authentic. I came here for a party. I will be coming back with family to try more.
We have been regular customers here for a while and I was blown away tonight by the food here. It’s always high quality and super tasty but we tried some new dishes tonight and they were spot on authentic, delicious and fresh! I love coming here for the seafood spring rolls, caramelised fish hot pot, hot and sour soup but I think you could add everything on the menu here because it’s all just that good! Can’t wait to come back!!!
The only place you can go for Vietnamese! Food is always fresh, the best quality and tasty!
Leave your comfort zone, dive into a jelly fish salad or an avacado shake.
Anything on the menu will make your mouth water!
Try and get in early on a Friday or Saturday night as this place will be busy!
Bach Dang is one of the more clean, modern and spacious Vietnamese/Chinese function restaurants in the area. Service is ok, there are so many workers and when it’s busy, their customer service is not consistent. In saying that, I had no complaints about the service that I received on this particular occasion!
We only ordered the braised lobster with XO sauce and noodles and it was super tasty!! Definitely satisfied my cravings but it’s way better to go in a group as just this one dish between two was a bit too expensive.
My first time eating Beef of 7 Kinds was at Bach Dang, and it was fantastic; I've since been back twice, once at lunchtime, when we had, among other things, crispy salt and pepper whitebait and durian smoothie, and another time at dinner where, because there were just two of us (Beef of 7 Kinds requires min. 4 people, I believe), we ordered some other dishes instead, including Campfire Beef; everything tasted fabulous. FYI Bach Dang has been around for decades but it was upgraded not too long ago, and it now looks like a very elegant family restaurant with large round tables, much like what you find in Chinatown.
Fantastic service and yummy food. One of the cleaner seafood restaurants within the area. We had the pork and prawn salad, beef salad, salted duck egg crab, pigeon, seafood spring rolls and the sour soup. Loved everything except the sour soup - it was way too sweet!
My absolute fav tamarind crab! They do it the best hands down. The sauce is to do die for and also goes well with rice. Papaya salad is quite nice also. Would definitely recommend getting these two dishes.
I ate here with my family for fathers day and it was quite packed when we got there and we didnt book so I recommend booking to gurantee a seat. The food was average and a bit overpriced in my opinion. We got 1.2kg crab ($108), fried rice($24) (not sure which one but it was yellow), mongolian beef ($23) and chicken and sweet corn soup ($6.50). The crab was nice and had a lot of meat inside. The fried rice was a bit lacking in taste but it was quite a big portion so be prepared to share it. The mongolian beef was average. The soup was smaller than I expected. It was quite hard to get a servers attention despite there being so many of them. Parking was easy because of the large parking complex built and there is also a train and bus station near by for anyone who like public transport. The crab was obviously messy to eat but they provided wet towelettes to clean ourselves up as well as complimentary rockmelon to finish off our meals. The tablecloths were paper which I found a bit odd since tney had normal tablecloths underneath it.The atmosphere is quite lively and loud. I noticed there were a few events running as well (possibly why it was hard to get staffs attention) but the experience was overall nice and I would probably return in the future.
Situated in the quieter streets of Canley Vale. Vietnamese food specialising in seafood. They have a vast menu selection, with undeniable fresh seafood.
We are there on a Sunday lunch as typical we stir away from meat so this was the perfect location to satisfy our needs and cravings. You can't go wrong with some salt and pepper fried fish especially when it's accompanied with some fresh chilli and shallots. We also ordered some scallops, which never disappoint they had more of a fresh feel with fresh shallots sitting on top emerised in soy sauce (yum drooling just thinking about it) lastly we have the salt and pepper squid, what a way to start lunch with something fried. That dipping sauce was sensational that we had to ask for more.
Overall this restaurant is quite pricey then what you may expect to spend at a Vietnamese restaurant, but when your getting seafood cooked like this who is complaining.
I repeatedly come back here with my friends because the food is so good! The staff are the owners so the level of service is great each and every time. We had the mud crab and pipis this time but their crab claw, sugarcane wrap dish, honey prawns, ginger shallot oysters, grilled pork dishes and every other dish that we have tried here has been spot on!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
We tried this restaurant for a quick lunch on Saturday recently and the place was not busy, maybe due to Covid-19 situation. We ordered two dishes i.e. the grilled beef w/ rice roll wrap (bo-dun) and the paw-paw salad w/ prawns, jelly-fish and pork belly. Both dishes were nicely prepared and we liked them, especially since they're quite rare dishes that are hard to find in other Vietnamese places.
The customer service is quite good while the ambience / facility are great. The place is brightly lid and spacious plus has a clean, decent rest-rooms for both genders. Prices on the menu are a bit more expensive than other Vietnamese places in the area, but not excessively and can be understood due to better ambience / facilities. You can pay with credit cards without any surcharge, another bonus for customer-friendly service.
Seafood spring rolls are a must. All other dishes tend to be slightly more expensive than your regular Vietnamese resultant but are always well prepared and delicious. Staff are friendly but tend to seat you near thoroughfare or near the loud kitchen so just ask for another table.
been coming here with my family for over a decade, probably the best place to have vietnamese food for dinner in the area.
