Finally got to try the ramen here after hearing so many good reviews about this place and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The tonkotsu broth was so balanced and flavourful, perfect for a rainy day like today. My friend and I both enjoyed our ramen bowls and are excited to come back for more when we have the chance!
Love this place! My go-to on my lunch break (especially on a cold day). My favourite is the Toru Shoyu ramen, clear, nice broth. Pork bun is also a must try.

👏I have been here countless times in small and large groups. I usually get the same thing (karaka-men) but I do have a photo of when I tried one of the specials. The Ramen is consistently good and so I go here when I don't want to pick something else. The sides are usually pretty good, I recommend the pork buns
This are some of the dishes you can only found in Ippudo, Chatswood and some other small store. Recommend all the dishes!
1. Wagyu tataki : tender and tasty!
2. Pork fillet katsu sandwich: the pork fillet is really thick and crispy. The bread itself thin kind of toasted
3. Teriyaki teppan and gyu kalbi teppan: kind of stir fried. one of had to order dish~ so rich in flavour and tasty
4. Chicken nanban: must to order dish! The sauce on the side is made of egg and other ingredients~ goes really well will the fried chicken🤤
5. Matcha pannacota: not too bitter and not too sweet like perfect and the fruits bring the sweet to the overall dish. The pannacota itself really smooth and creamy and thick
Great staff, great service, great food. We came for their anniversary celebrations which meant $10 specialty ramen! Woohoo! Loved both ramens, broths were very rich but distinct in flavour and they nailed the desired texture of our noodles. Outside of the deal, $16 for a bowl of ramen is a bit pricey for students but we will be back when we crave for some high-quality ramen :)
The wait for a table was a little long (around 15 mins) but thats perfectly fine as its in the heart of the train station and the tasty ramen makes up for it! I got the shiromaru moataji (number 2 on the menu) and was really worth the hype!
Manpuku is our usual go-to place for ramen in Chatswood but we were at Chatswood interchange, the kids were hungry so we gave Ippudo a go.
It's Sunday 11.20am and the crowds are already forming, anxious for their weekend ramen fix. As the clock ticks over to 11.30, the hungry hordes are allowed entry and we are seated by the waitstaff, quickly filling up the small restaurant. The kids shared a karaka-men ramen with an extra serve of kaedama which was hastily consumed. For something sweet we had the matcha ice cream which had a pleasant creamy matcha flavour that wasn't overly sweet or bitter.
Ippudo is priced at a premium and there are better value ramen options if you're feeding a family.
Ordered the same noodle as other ippudos that I’ve been to. Not much different. On a very hot day, the aircon at the food court is just not enough. Service is below slow. The gyoza was tiny and for 10 dollars was definitely not worth it.
I saw the high rating and reviews for Ippudo Westfield Sydney so I assume that the Chatswood branch would be just as good. I ordered the Akamaru which was alright but it didn't wow me. I think there's just too many ramen places these days and most of them do a decent soup base.
Needed to go for a quick lunch at Chatswood interchange and decided on Ippudo. I had the spicy ramen and it tasted better than the other outlets I'd been in Sydney surprisingly. A good meal!
Wow.
Absolutely mouth watering experience.
First served with Karaage which was the most delicious Karaage I’ve ever had in my life.
And of course my ramen was extremely tasty. The original tonkotsu broth ramen!
Prawn bao was also very yummy!
Overall, this restaurant made my day so happy. I would definitely re visit this store to refill my happiness 😆
Thanks you.
Been a while since i've eaten here, but last time I did it was just as good as I remembered. Highly recommend their Shiromaru Motoaji (creamy broth ramen with pork loins). There was generous amount of meat and it was tender. The broth was creamy and not too salty. You can tell the noodles are hand-made, they were chewy, thin and well-cooked. The atmosphere is clean and very close to Chatswood station (5 mins away). Would come back :)
A hot bowl of ramen at Ippudo can never go wrong. Always so incredible and with extra noodles being only $1, it’s the best dollar you can spend in Sydney.
Its cool that for takeaway you have the option to have your noodles separate from the broth to keep them from getting soggy before you get home. It'd be a shame if they did, since the ramen is good.
