It’s been awhile since last visit, their menu seems to have changed a little, but glad to see that the classic noodle soups are still there. Got the beef combination noon soup. Plenty of beef, tripe, brisket, all of them soft and melt in your mouth. Good flavours through the meat and the soup. There was so much, I couldn’t get through all of the noodles as well. The side of the tofu & was ok, prefer the tofu to be a bit softer.
Ordered the signature dumplings, it was made to order and very tasty and delicious! Love the fresh soymilk. Very impressed, ambience is casual, great lunch spot.
Green Tea Wheel Cake : 😁 Great
Walked past and had to get one from their food stall. Piping hot green tea flavoured custard in a warm crispy pancake batter. Very flavourful and beautiful to have on a cold windy day. Keen to try their other flavours.
We had a quick lunch here, good lunch deals with reasonable portions. Tasty Taiwanese food! Quick service. The restaurant isn’t too very big but enough seating for small groups or individuals. The stewed pork belly with rice was delicious along with the sides.
It's a cute little place with beautiful lanterns hanging off the ceiling. Staff are super nice and friendly. We had the baodao beef noodle soup and the wonton noodle soup. The broth in the beef noodle soup was amazing and the wonton noodle soup's broth was good but not as flavoursome as the former. The wontons were delicious though. Noodles were good too. We came out of there satisfied; it was exactly what we needed on a cold winter evening.
Honestly my favourite restaurant in Chatswood, i love the fried chicken, the dumplings, the rice with pork mince, the ambience and last but not least that bald headed guy. 5/5 what a great place i would live there
It is a quite OK Taiwanese restaurant. We go there to have a quick meal quite often. Restaurant is clean, staff are polite, food is authentic.
One of my go-to places for a comforting bowl of beef noodles. Although I always order their beef soup noodles, I have to mention that their fried chicken is fantastic- super crispy and light batter and the chicken is so juicy. I’ve been a few times and would recommend it.
This place does not fail me, ever! Best Taiwanese food in Sydney for a reasonable price. Love their mince beef rice. Staff are always so friendly.
First time came to Bao Dao Taiwanese Kitchen. This restaurant is not easy to locate. It is a small restaurant in Chatswood and that's my first time to have lunch in baodao. The environment is very small, but my sister and I we both think the dishes are really nice, the noodle soup and pork dumplings are really good. We highly recommand the pork dumplings.
Although the food is not very quick but we really satisified for the service.I have some suggestions:
-Shorten the cooking time for dumplings but it was really nice and I highly recommand this and it really worth to wait.
-The attitude provide from the stuffs make me feel comfortable.
-The last thing i want to say is whilst a worker was extremely busy another worker was playing her phone, i don't know is this situation is normal or not.
I will come next time and try other dishes!!!

Wholesome Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Friendly service. Good for a quick simple meal.
Order at the touch screen and take a number with you to a table. The beef noodle soup ($15.90) is the specialty - meat is tender and soup is flavourful. The bao and boiled dumplings were also nice.
Portions are average. You won’t walk out very full, but you won’t feel hungry either.
Wheel Cake is a traditional Taiwanese snack. Thanks for making such a delicious dessert. The two traditional flavors of red bean and taro are highly recommended. Only Thursday and Friday at Chatswood Market. Braised Pork with Rice and Eggs was delicious. The pork is very sweet and not greasy, and the egg is full of soy sauce light aroma.
The beef noodles are super delicious. The soup is very refreshing and sweet. The meat is so tender that no bite is required at all.
GWA-BAO is a well-known traditional burger in Taiwan using juicy pork. Highly recommended for gourmets who love pork. thanks
A small Taiwanese restaurant. The food was tasty and the portion was just right. They have a self serve ordering system similar to Maccas but the instructions were confusing. Asking the customer to scan the QR code at the table when it was really asking the customers to take the table number sitting right next to the ordering screen. The ordering screen is located right at the main entrance which also blocks other customers from entering and leaving the restaurant.
A good no frills taiwanese noodle shop. Noodles were delicious and service was quick. Always thought beef noodle soup had bok choy but wasn't included in the two soups we got
This place is a local gem. The food is delicious and well price. My favourite dish is the fried chicken and prawn pork steam dumplings.
A regular haunt for me. Myself and many others got the basil chicken and rice and it was simply delicious! The chicken was well seasoned and never fails to impress. A little too pricy for what it is but still I would recommend!
They had these Cakes which are great. I really love the matcha and custard one!
Should try it out!
