Was skeptical about this place after a friend told me about how good they were as I’m very particular with my chicken rice... I was pleasantly surprised, probably top 3 best chicken rice in Sydney and the portions were good @ a reasonable price. Definitely will be back!

I've been going here for years. A nice cheap eat with dishes averaging around $13. Consistently delicious, and large portions. Really efficient service, the wait time isn't too long even when busy. 😍
Great cheap eat in Chatswood that's been around forever. There's really only 3 things to get here:
1. Hainan chicken, thigh piece is extremely moist and tender, breast is cheaper and a bigger portion. IMO, this is one of the best takes in Sydney, and their chicken rice is especially good. I think the condiments could do with some improvement but hard to fault the chicken or rice itself. Thigh piece used to run out very early but they recently started doing fresh chickens for dinner time as well.
2. Fried salmon head noodle soup, a little oily but great flavour on the fish. Noodle soup is decent too
3. Laksas, not the best but definitely up there. I'm not really a laksa fan but I've been around to most of the good places around and this one is definitely decent.
One of the quickest, cheapest places to get food in CW, have been coming here for years and has been consistently good.
My absolute favourite laksa in Sydney! They know my order by heart: vegetable laksa with no vegetables, only tofu. The soup is tasty, warms the tummy and its something I always crave
Really nice Asian style food. I was recommended the fried salmon head noodle soup, and it did not disappoint (but may be a bit out there for the more squeamish eaters). Solid delivery on other traditional dishes demonstrates why there is frequently a line for this place.

Quality food court food. Very nice salmon fish head and Hainanese chicken... chicken are fresh, must choose thigh. Since salmon is deep sea fish, no need to add so much source to cook, the taste itself is good enough.
Go for their hainanese chicken rice if you are visiting this place for the first time, always a favourite during lunch time. They're very quick in getting out the orders as well.
Probably the best outlet in the Mandarin Centre Foodcourt, it had stood the test of time & has been here for as long as i can remember it, and it is always busy. Best known for their Hainan Chicken Rice, and I was really craving it, but they sold out of the thigh cut (which is $1 extra), only breast meat was available, so I opted for their second best dish, the fried salmon head noodle soup. My friend ordered a combination laksa. They didn't tell us that the salmon head Soup was going to take ages (20mins), but the laksa was ready pretty quick, so my friend had almost finished her laksa when I got my food. However it was definitely worth waiting for, the fish was nicely fried, not oily, and the fresh of the fish was still soft & moist, almost slip off your tongue. The noodle soup was well balanced between the hot & sour. The laksa was authentic too with both style of noodles (hokkien & vermicelli). It had plenty of meat & fish balls etc. A good laksa.
Hands down best hainan chicken in chatswood and sydney (including temasak)

Great hainanese chicken rice. Make sure you go for for the chicken thigh which is $1 more expensive but definitely worth it.
Salmon head soup noodle and laksa was so so. Have had better.
An overall good shopping centre but doesn't include all the things you might want or need. The food court is really good and the overall atmosphere is nice. It also has a hoyts at the top which is good. If you need something that you can't find something you need just go to Chatswood Westfield which is a benefit because it's right next door. Overall a good shopping centre but doesn't have everything you may need or want so thats why it's four stars.
The Mandarin Centre is always clean it full of interesting things. Does a convenient car park underneath and a wide variety of shops. It's always nice and clean and the staff in the shops are always friendly.
Mandarin centre is a nice shopping mall mainly for those who like asian vibes and chinese in particular.
I always enjoy going there with my lovely asian friends. Food court has variety options and almost all food is kinda reasonable priced. The only issue with some shops is they fill up your bowl with rice and they put tiny chicken or meat peaces, this is literally not fair.
Parking is not hard. You can access it from victor street and Albert Avenue. Also, it is very close to Chatswood train station, metro, buses and many facilities.
Lots of good food in the food court!
But parking is so tricky. Need to verify before getting out.....
