Ordered a box of takeaway Beef Fried Rice Noodle, exactly the same taste as I had this dish in Hong Kong. Good value and quick service !

Authentic, delicious food and polite staff! Great atmosphere, I ordered the French Toast and some congee. I love how true to HK style the food is! It's great value for money too

I like HongKong style cafes. We ordered baked beef with Portuguese sauce and beef w bitter melon. The food tasted good. And there are plenty of options in their menu.

I have adored Hong Kong Kitchen for as long as I can remember!
Food is cheap (ridiculously cheap!), service is fast and efficient
I always go for the Beef Brisket Noodles or Satay Chicken with Rice
The only complaints I have are that sometimes service can be a little shitty - finding hair in food, etc is generally not met with much apology and waiters/waitresses can be quite abrupt and discourteous

But overall I love this place and hope it never closes (also why are the reviews so bad????? It’s no Rockpool but they’re preeetty good at what they do)

Equally as good as their sister branch in Eastwood. Huge menu and loads to choose. I should only choose those we sampled to be fair. 1. Beef with egg sauce rice noodle
2. Bake pork chop rice
3. Spice eggplant with mince pork on rice
4. Beef brisket herbal soup with rice noodle

Yuma- we will be back. Service isn't half bad either but you may have to share table during 'peak' hours.

If you want an authentic, Hong Kong cha caan teng experience for good value then this is the place. Don't expect amazing service, as with any place in HK so don't say I didn't warn you.

We usually get baked Portuguese chicken on rice, beef satay hor fun, braised beef herbal soup, Singaporean noodles and the hot drinks like HK style tea and Horlicks. Always satisfied and tastes how it should, and at a great price for Australia. Definite recommend for cheap eats.

I've been finding it so hard to find an authentic Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng restaurant in Sydney. I would have to say that Hong Kong Kitchen is the closest thing to the real deal. We ordered their fried rice noodle with beef and egg gravy, beef brisket with rice noodles in soup, ice lemon tea and milk tea. The drinks were spot on, and I particularly appreciated how many lemon slices they put in their tea. The beef soup noodles had a little too much msg in the soup - so much so that it was quite noticeable (albeit very tasty). But the real highlight was the beef wat tan hor, which had just the right amount of 'char' on the noodles. Not sure why the rating for this place is so low, as it seems to have a constant stream of people late into the afternoon. We'll be back to try their breakfast menu.

First time here, ordered a satay beef noodles. This is a must to try if u are eating in a HK style restaurant. It has a big portion which value of money $7.5. But there are too much onion and the beef are too thick which u won't find that in HK.

This is a truly Hong Kong style cafe with a huge variety of food similar to those offered in Hong Kong.  I love to go this place for its authenticity in representing the local food in Hong Kong.  The milk tea I think is also one of the best I have tasted in Sydney.

Service: 6/10
Food (for its Authenticity) : 8/10
Ambiance: 6/10
Value for money: 8/10

I have eaten at this place over 10 times and find it to be a very cost effective way to try Chinese/ HK dishes. The menu is quite expansive and huge variety (everything from dessert, hot pot, stir fried, braised and even steak). The service is not great but passable, and many of their dishes can imitate the flavour (not taste of course, given the price) of restaurant dishes. Dishes all ranging from $8.2-$10 with large serving sizes - yes please! For its price, it’s definitely a 5/5 for me.

Never disappoints. Great food, value and service. Best beef and chicken fried rice for the kids... Highly recommend the salt and pepper pork chop. Most dishes under 10 bucks!
