TGI Fridays have large quantity American style food.
This visit I got the beef ribs. For the price, you got a huge amount that I could not finish.
Ribs were tender amd had a great flavour. I was very impressed.
Id stick to the meats when visiting with they do well.
The serving sizes are phenomenal at this place. It’s always a great place to eat after a whole day of shopping or even before the movies. The burgers are the best 😍
My partner and I were seeing a movie at Southland and chose to TGI’s for lunch post on account of the entertainment book. I was flabbergasted to see pasta is no longer on the menu 😭😭😭 it’s been a few years between visits but it’s always been my go to.
With no other choice but to try something new I went for a grilled chicken burger. The menu change must have also resulted in a shuffle of price points because it seems a lot more affordable than my recollection.
The burger was serviceable and with the discount even more so. Good family friendly spot
The waitress was polite and helpful . The glazed chicken , mash and vegetables were very nice . I had a triple berry smoothie which was great . It is a bit pricy but otherwise all good . I will come back again .
Was there for dinner tonight, staff was very friendly, the potato twist for starts was amazing, the porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection, and with a Jack Daniels glaze WOW, crispy chips washed down with a Millers beer, what more would you want, great prices, mates Jack Daniels burger looked great. Thanks TGI Fridays well done.
Plenty of staff and always busy, the TGI Friday’s at Southland is constantly buzzing. The food is the same as other TGI’s: large, tasty and plentiful. Beautiful American decor is spread throughout the premises making it a very comfy place to go.
TGIs is definitely the universal symbol for a good time, from their birthday song to their quirky decor you’ll definitely enjoy the experience. We always enjoy a visit to TGIs and for a chain restaurant their service...
I had some Mexican burger it was in one word delicious and I am not a burger person, if all burgers tasted like this one I might become one. Only fault; not enough pico de gallo salsa.
The food at TGI Friday’s is always solid. Great selection of steaks and burgers available and the serving sizes are very generous.
Upon my last visit the helpful wait staff informed me that they recently removed their unlimited soft drink options.
My friend's and I dined here once on a Friday night (how poetic). We began the dinner by ordering our starters which was the Jack Daniel's Sampler. It was a favourite, the pork belly my friends said it was great, as well as the chicken strips, but what really was the show stop was the Cajun Spiced prawns 🍤; as this was not only cooked but also prepared perfectly, it had a little church and what really impressed me was that there wasn't any "oily" after taste which you might find at some other restaurants.
My friend's ordered the, All American Cheeseburger and The Ultimate Jack Daniel's (burger). All was good, like I one of them clearly stated that: "this is the best burger I've ever had"
I ordered the Jack Daniel's Glazed Salmon with veggies. Mostly I thought the salmon was well cooked, it wasn't cooked sooo much that the pieces were falling out yet it wasn't undercooked. I was extremely impressed by the glaze, like I understand this is no easy task. Like there wasn't any skin on and it was flame grilled, that's an achievement on its own because flame grilling salmon with no skin isn't easy.
However I did have one issue. The veggies, some were slightly undercooked and the carrots are the main problem as they were still quite hard.
It will be a complete crime for me to give this restaurant anything under 5 because of that one tiny issue. Especially since the meals and service were up and beyond everyone's expectations.
