Located on Smith Street, Biggie Smalls take the humble kabab and gives them a modern make over with some unique flavours and their own twists.
They have a lot to choose from here with a little something for everyone. Not just offering kababs they offer burgers, fries and even something for the veggos out there.
If you find yourself on Smith Street and love a good 'kbab' as they, it's worth a stop in.
The only downside for us is that we thought they were a little over priced but other than that, we enjoyed the food here.
My lamb kebab was delicious - the sauce was amazing, I love the thicker pita bread they use, and the veggies were all fresh. My partner's dirty gravy kebab was also nice, although I personally preferred mine. The loaded chips were good, corn dogs were ok. Quick and reasonably efficient service. The price is probably the main thing keeping me from going back, as $16.50-17.50 is a tad more than what I'd normally spend on my kebabs.
The name is a big up!
I’ve always ordered kebabs from this place on Uber and never had a complaint.
Wanted to see the place since it was called Biggie Smalls and imagined old school hip-hop vibes with some bars.
The food is delicious. Tried their Dirty South and loaded fries and they blew my taste buds away.
Their bread is so fluffy and fresh you’d eat it without any stuffings.
Their staff is so humble you’d feel extremely welcomed. These couple of ladies in the even were excellent with their hospitality and that is what drove me to put down a review.
Must visit for a quick snack/dinner. I’m going to be a regular.
First off, digging the name! Somehow perfect for a kebab joint. The concept’s pretty cool too, fusing middle eastern street eats with American classics. I had the dirty south with chips, and the pita bread was so fluffy and delicious, I’d honestly order it by itself. Fillings were nice, chips were a bit cold though.
In the office thought I’d order and try this place out. Good call. Great cheeseburger style kebab, love the crunchy flavoured chips, amazing dim sims, really hits the spot when you’re hungry. Exactly what I was expecting which was a relief considering I was hungry and didn’t want to try anything new. Definitely recommend!
This is next level kebabs..Biggie smalls are trying their best to open your eyes and show you that there is more to kebabs than that vision of sponge meat. I will always opt for a biggie smalls kebab because you get something more than just meat, salad and garlic sauce. Its funky, it's tasty and it's full of surprises.
I have been wanting to try this lance for awhile as I am a big fan of Shane Delia. It was a funky looking place with a good menu. Friendly and fast service. The food was fresh and we tried both the OG’s in chicken and beef. Chips had a nice zaatar type seasoning on it and the popping jalapeños are a must try. We tried the cheese sauce with the chips but we didn’t really enjoy the sauce - chips are better without. Worth a try for sure
Got a falafel wrap to take away and it was great. The falafel was moist and pita was super fluffy. Hummus and yoghurt sauce added flavour but unfortunately, both were settled towards the bottom of the wrap. But despite unevenly distributed condiments, I can't complain about this tasty veggie lunch.
Absolutely love the concept of combining American and Mediterranean cuisines to make a completely delicious new cuisine . the dirty juicy and the corn dogg were out of the world..
Look, you want a kebab? Loaded fries? Fried chicken? Just order it here. You’re not going to feel great tomorrow ordering junk food anyway so how about you feel good ordering top quality stuff and wake up in the morning knowing you fell to your inner demons but picked the best one. They’re doing God’s work here.
Oh we have a winner here. Total game changer in the world of kebabs!
We ordered the ‘Dirty South Kebab’…. Fried chicken, lettuce, pickled onion, garlic, Biggie hot sauce and lemon aioli, we did however add cheese.
We both uhmmed and ahhed over the fact that the chicken could potentially be way too dry but decided to take the risk, talk about a good payoff.
Like I said, total game changer. We took our first mouthful and glanced at each other with that look that says ‘Oh dear god, we just found gold’….
The chicken was succulent while being perfectly crispy and flavoursome. The lovely balance of herbs mixed in with the coating, the pickled onions and also fresh herbs created a delightful taste sensation. The aioli was sublime, with the cheese being a good addition.
We then have the kebab bread…. This in itself is also a bit of a hero to be honest… It had this slight smokey flavour while being moist (honestly, I hate using that word but it is the only fitting description) while also holding its form. Most kebabs fall apart, the bread breaks or it’s too thick and doughy… This bread was out of this world.
We’re looking at seriously fresh food and unique but perfectly thought out flavours here. You can tell the creator has tried every combination of ingredients before arriving at the final recipe which I can say is simple on the surface but actually a complex masterpiece.
Let’s not forget the chips with smoked mustard mayo! For $5.50 we got a large serve of chips with this divine mayo that will blow your mind. The chips were cooked perfectly, fluffy and somewhat buttery, when dipped in the mayo you find yourself delaying swallowing just to savour the flavour.
This type of well thought out food almost has the ability to make time stand still as you eat.
This place is something special. You haven’t truly lived until you try their kebabs, it is a magical experience.
Further to the above, if the creator of this recipe wasn’t the person who cooked it, you have yourself a team who are perfectly in sync from a conceptual perspective through to execution.
Thank you, team! Well done. Utterly faultless in every way!
it is a pilgrimage for me to go back to my old hood and eat at shane delia's biggie smalls. such great kebabs, love them love them!
Would give 6 stars if could. Great food, great vibe. I had a gf falafel and partner had a dirty bacon with cheese which is a fried chicken kebab, both left very happy, do check this place out if you like kebabs and awesome places.

The piggy smalls was a burst of flavour that had me in tears. Great tasting food and atmosphere. I cant wait to come again. Might even order two ❤
This was a surprise visit but damn if this wasnt the best loaded fries iv eaten. All menu items were amazing.
Awesome food, smiley chef, nostalgic hip hop. What's not to like?
Just got an awesome gluten free pulled pork kebab. I wanted to tell the young guy who served us that he was really good at his job but didn't. Then as soon as we left my friend said 'that guy was really good at his job' and we all agreed. He was funny, friendly, happy and an all round legend. It makes me realize the importance of good service. And the food is delicious.
