Beautiful, unpretentious brunch locale in Collingwood. The interiors are absolutely breathtaking. It doesn't pretend to be like the modern-clean cut-botanical cafes that are swarming up the brunch scene - it just is naturally aesthetic. Ordered the seasonal lunch menu which made me feel very healthy indeed. Also tried the miso baked egg which was great.
This place is the loveliest. The food is incredible. The miso-baked eggs is a must try (weekends only). So ambiant & also quiet. Everything is quality. Cant wait to try more
A sweet cafe with friendly staff. Before going and seeing the photos online, I was a little worried about their portion sizes being tiny but after having the soba with onsen egg & kake-tsuyu I was surprised how filling it was! Not only tasty, but felt clean and healthy. Giving 4 out of 5 only because I felt the price was a tad dear. Other than that I'm looking forward to going back and tasting the other items on their menu!
Love the place, love the staff (especially the barista guy who served us and had his first Lune croissant. Hola if you remember us!), ambience is great with cute spots to take photos. Food was amazing as well. Had the baked eggs and the the chicken and fish sets and I think I need to go back for more!
A lovely place full of greens as its interior aesthetics, personally am drawn by this place's vibes - soothing music, chilled service x Will pop by again to try their food x

I'm in two.minds about this place. Their small kitchen means they dont do extras or add ons to meals (i assume this is why they dont do it) but this left me feeling hungry after my breakfast because the avocado and toast was only one slice on bread and a whole lot of avocado, whereas with an egg it would have been enough. They also only make one sized coffee which I consider blasphemy, so I ate my breakfast then went up the road for a large take away instead.
Amazingly impressed by this little oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle. Fresh, green, breezy, light, spacious, unpretentious.. these are some of the words I’d describe this place and as for the food? Well.. soo yummy soo healthy soo perfect. This is the Fish Lunch Complete and I’m leaving pretty satisfied. Give it a try! Def highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Beautiful Japanese soul food with a healthy focus. Until you get to their delicious cakes and brownies. Good hot chocolate too. Also try their matcha butter cake with red bean filling.
Sinfully Delicious!
Ambience: delightful. Lush greenery everywhere, cute little car parked in the middle of the cafe with benches organised around it. Absolutely love the high ceilings, airy feel to it. Heaps of space all around
Service: attentive, polite, accommodating, big smiles on everyones faces, truly Japanese-inspired with a focus the customer experience. Kudos team!
Food: amazing. I am a fan of Japanese food and brunch. Nothing better than Japrunch (or Brunchese? I don't think I quite coined a term here). The baked egg was delightful (baked egg, home made sweet miso, roasted eggplant, butternut pumpkin, provolone cheese wth a side of toast - to die for. Not for those on a diet, but definitely for one who wants to indulge for the day.
Will be back again for more
Food was decent but nothing special. My favourite dish was the eggplant topped with some crumbed tofu. The beef wrapped asparagus was also nice but I was expecting something more.
Great service and spacious hip cafe. The food here has a seemingly health conscious focus with Japanese flavoured influence. I was blown away by the food, it was nothing that I had expected - but really tasty and different from anything I’ve had before.
I enjoyed breakfast here. Strong Japanese influence on standard “Gai Jin” breakfast favourites.
I loved the miso/eggplant baked eggs though a little heavy on the cheese.
Coffee was good however serving sizes of the coffee was a little too ‘dainty’ given it was a Sunday morning and the level of my hangover/desire for caffeine.
Outside is very unassuming so very easy to miss. Look for the plants for sale up the back.
What’s a cute little hidden gem! Small menu but was yum! I had the miso baked eggs, don’t usually like eggplant but was so yum and cheesy!!! Big fan! Bf had scrambled with sausage, he said it was good (better than average) apparently the chocolate cake is Yum and all their other cakes looked amazing! Had almond mocha and it was so yummy! Also had takeaway the day before. Ambiance is so tranquil, plants which are for sale and just an amazing atmosphere, we stayed way past finishing our meal and was not once pushed out like your usual Melbourne hustle. 👌🏼
Great coffee and food. I haven't tried everything but they did a wonder job with food. The traditional brekkie has got a slight hint of Japanese flavour which was delightful. Staff were friendly. The interior may not be to everyone's liking. It's quirky and you can feel the budget was perhaps a constraint.
We enjoyed the plant and old workshop ambience here. The rice porridge was my idea of a perfect breakfast. I'd come back just for this dish alone. Well worth a visit
Wow. Blown away by this gorgeous and inspiring place! Wish I lived closer and would come here daily. Also wished they had WiFi. Super friendly staff. Great coffee and they kept my water filled for the 3 hours I was there.
Unique atmosphere with plant and wood. Good coffee as well :)
Great place with large tables. Serving good range of food from cafe to lunch. Surrounded by plants and high quality ceramic shop this is amazing place.
