Have been here quite a few times and got the Pasta Mista! Choice of 3 pastas and shared, highly recommend coming here for a meal it never disappoints!
We always have an enjoyable experience and delicious meals when we eat at Da Ricardos. The steak in particular is lovely. The service is warm, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!
On the whole, a hint above average middle-tier local Italian restaurant in terms of food quality. The penne calabrese was very salty, and it felt like this was excessively so, even when accounting for the fact that it had both salami and olives. The house-made salami itself was nice though. The pasta was cooked acceptably, a little more than al dente.
The spaghetti pescatore was a much nicer and more rounded dish. You could taste the seafood, and this component was acceptably fresh. I still would have liked more of a contribution from the tomato based sauce, but on the whole it was very good, especially when you consider the price. The value for money here is definitely the draw. I have had far worse for a far higher price tag.
Da Ricardo's is a friendly, clean, traditional restaurant. Food is delicious with full of flavour. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Owner is really friendly, going around to each table to see how his customers are going. Would definitely be recommending others to come here.
I ordered the chicken avocado which was amazing. The sause was really nice and a whole avo was more than enough. The chips were seasoned great i also got salad and veggies. The beans were hard but i was happy overall with the meal.. my boyfriend got the eye fillet which he said he loved with the redwine sause..we both polished it off!!! The place itself didnt look the best but the food is what matters right?
This is a good, affordable restaurant. Not very fancy, so don't expect that, but it's good for a happy dinner out. We had no problems with the service. Our food came quickly and tasted good. It was nice to have water and glasses brought to the table, and also complimentary bread rolls and butter. We had to ask for spoons to use for eating our tagliatelle pasta (and for the pasta sauce too), and they were happily given to us.
The decor is basic/ minimalist, but there is a cool fish tank/ aquarium which other customers' children enjoyed looking at. We would be happy to come here again.
First visit here with the family to celebrate fathers day and couldn't be happier with both the meals and the service. Ordered the eye fillet and it was honestly the best steak I've had in a long time. I've paid nearly twice the price for meals half as good.. more than a few times! The steak was cooked perfectly but the red wine reduction just topped it all off for me. Highly recommend and will definetly be back. 👌
Da Ricardo's is a great family restaurant food is outstanding, favourites for our family are the Chicken Avocado, Lasagne, Calamari, Ministrone, Barramundi and Bruchetta. All the staff are very friendly and always stop for a chat and make sure that everything is to our liking. Upstairs is great for your larger group functions. We have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant for many years.
Could not say anything negative about this place. Always very friendly staff, food is delicious, great flavour and very fresh! Can't go wrong if you feel like a home cooked meal but can't be bothered cooking it yourself! For what you get the price is great too which is rare these days! Keep up the good work guys.
