Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Very tasty food. Loved the whole experience. And the layout of the restaurant is very beautiful. Very traditional japanese. And my friend said she really enjoyed it there too. Just sake wasn't for her lol.

I can't believe I have not set foot in this place and it is only 5 minutes away!
Everything from start to finish was packed full of flavour, fresh and had us wanting more.
We ordered, aburi salmon, beef tataki, gyutan, spicy salmon roll and wafu steak (sizzling plate).
Honestly loved everything from presentation, flavours, their sauce for aburi was a little sweeter and tangier than most we have tried, definitely savoured some on our plates and dipped other things into it. Definitely coming back!

My partner and i decided to try out Teppanyaki for the first time on our 6 year anniversary. We were in two minds initially as we read about some not so nice experiences others had encountered about getting food thrown at them. For us, we had a very kind and friendly Chef who was careful with his throws, especially since i reluctantly agreed to catching the bowls and fried rice. My partner got knocked on the head with a rice bowl but no harm done. It really depends on the Chef you get because the guy on the other side was just rough with his throws, i guess you could get a laugh out of it which is why they do it. Just don't were a white shirt in case. On the Saturday night when we came, it was quite noisy. One of the 3 Teppanyaki tables had mostly young children. I can see why because the games keep them entertained. Be prepared for it to be a communal acitivity and you will enjoy it. If you are after some quiet time with someone special, this might not be the best option. We opted for the signature banquet with eye fillet at a cost of $66pp. We also got a bottle of sake. Must mention that we used the entertainment book voucher on our visit and got a $45 discount on the overall bill which is why i rated 4 stars for value, otherwise a 3.5.

Japanese cuisine is one of Mr D’s and my favourite food and when there’s a place close to home, we couldn’t say no. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to try the teppanyaki side this time but the a la carte side was quite cosy. The staff were efficient, quick yet very friendly. Once you sit down you get a pot of green tea for the table (awesome for a cold night) and they have a selection of mocktails and cocktails.
Kobe Teppanyaki situated in the office building shop 7 / 261-265 Blackburn Road, Doncaster East. You hardly miss this place cause it’s located in the office building and you’ll see the Kobe Teppanyaki sign. It might be a challenge to travel using Public Transport but no worries by private vehicle because there are plenty underground car parks available in the building;

Teppanyaki is always a delight to try – from the enthusiasm and chattiness of the chef, to the technically “unauthentic” games that they play to catch the rice, and not to mention, the general thrill of “raw to plate” sizzling right in front of your eyes. Kobe Teppanyaki in Doncaster captures all of this in one cosy, suburban restaurant.
Awesome restaurant experience with teppanyaki chef Howard who cooked well and had a few tricks up his sleeves. We loved everything that was served and had an enjoyable time there. Only gripe was we wished the waitress would give more more time to decide what we want. Still, a great dining experience with yummy teppanyaki food.
Our favourite Japanese restaurant. Staff are very friendly and food is unbelievable. Make sure you order the spicy sake roll, abure sake sashimi, soft shell crab roll and the tempura roll. I highly recommend it.

Great dinning experience! Our chef John was very chatty and full of fun, which I feel adds to the experience of Teppanyaki! The quality of the produce was great. We ordered the tiger prawn, calamari, salmon, chicken teriyaki , fried rice and wagyu! They were all cooked to perfection and all tasted different from one another.
The only negative is their interior/ decor, as I think it can be done up or modernised a bit more.
I go to this place for special occasions with my boyfriend's family. The sushi and sashimi is cut fresh. The main dishes are close to authentic Japanese. I've never had teppanyaki here because I prefer a la carte but I always hear diners enjoying themselves from an earshot. We always order usual dishes and try something new such as soft shell crab roll and unadon. Consistency has been the deliciously the same.
Had a really great time here with our tepenyaki experience . The food was awesome, really loved it, the service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Came here for my dad's birthday, and they supriesed us with lighting a candle with his dessert. The show was engaging and memorable. Only thing to be aware of is the restaurant is half sit down dinner, and the other tepenyaki so when booking make sure you clarify what you want. Highly recommend!
WOW...we went here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Chin, our chef made it very special & entertaining. The food was cooked to perfection, he really knows when the food is just right to our liking. Really recommend this place, if you get Chin, as your chef...your really going to love the food!

Howard our Teppanyaki master was great entertainment, we were lucky to have a private table due to booking timing.
Food was amazing, we both went with the “Wagyu” banquet everything was amazing!
Thoroughly enjoyed their ala carte dishes. Good service. Definitely worth another visit.
Teppanyaki was great and fun entertainment that my son enjoyed. We had a lovely Valentine’s dinner.

It’s a great experience. Cocktails are amazing, staff are really nice and great entertainment as you’re engaged through out.
I like the freshness of the food they prepare right then and there. But don’t expect take away noodle box flavours coz they use clean flavours for cooking.
