Amazing place with courteous staff. We tried the usual chicken burger, green up burger and large french fries. Everything tasted fresh and was served hot. It is good quantity for 2 people and absolutely worth the price. A must recommended place

Nice little place on Blackburn Rd. I ordered the Beef Caliente - the meats were exactly the greasy, cheat-like burger components you’d want. Beef patty was very juicy near the middle, and their super loaded fries had some really nice sauces/cheese + turkey bacon which wasn’t too salty.

The salads in the burger and overall construct of the Beef Caliente was honestly good without being mind-blowing. It was dominated by the cheese and beef flavour, it could probably do with a more even spread of bacon and a little bit less cheese. Definitely give this a place a go yourself!

We have been here 3 times in a week. Never disappointed. Always fresh ingredients and quality food. Burgers have a delicately balanced taste, which is the reason we keep coming back. Their hotdog is also great, unlike other places that hotdogs are soaked in mustard and tomato sauce. Fried chicken burger is a wow. If you can't choose between beef patty and fried chicken, try the hybrid burger. You will love it. Definitely the best place for burgers in this area.

Best Fried Chicken I've had in Melbourne!!
Illogically juicy, even the breast pieces!  Came back for takeaway within 2 days.
Burger above average, but DFC (Doncaster Fried Chicken) is the bomb!

MUST TRY!!! Will go back again and again.

Polite and friendly staff. The burger was healthy, good quality mince, no added fat.
The ambiance was nice, clean.  You should also try sausage+mushroom+cheese, it is a very famous middle eastern street food.

I was invited to Up the road tonight, a local burger joint with a truly lovely owner. I ordered the hybrid which was (as the name suggests) a combination of both fried chicken and beef. This is a good selection for those on the fence as it’s truly the best of both worlds.

It was a generous size and I ate it alongside a choc Hershey’s shake. What really rounded out the meal for me were the delicious loaded fries. There were well seasoned, nice and crispy and with the perfect ratio of cheese and sauce. I also enjoyed the addition of beef. Next time I’ll try the intriguing sounding carrot float drink!

Ordered a few times from Up The Road Burgers during lockdown with Uber Eats delivery. We must be on the edge of the delivery zone as each time the burgers and chips haven't been piping hot. Rather just above lukewarm. Orders have always been spot on with no errors. Still the Burgers are always very tasty, generously sized and filled with premium ingredients with interesting variations. Chips are crispy and well seasoned. Can't wait to visit them in person when it's easier to travel!
