The serving sizes here are plentiful for the amount you pay and the complimentary soup renders this a worthwhile dinner destination. The meats with rice are served immediately whilst the stir fried noodles took slightly longer. The amout of meat in the noodles was generous although the flavour was slightly lacking.
Chinese BBQ classics done well - generous, reasonably priced, efficient and polite service, presentation is typical for this style of dining. Prawn wontons are personal favourite, can't find many that are better in Sydney, or otherwise. Expect it to be quite cramped during busy hours, typically short queues for both dining in and takeaway.
The food here is amazing
The service needs to be improved
And the environment needs to be improved
Like the floor is not that clean and looks oily
But I always come back for the food
The taste is just amazing
Pretty good Chinese barbecue with all the classics, chicken, duck, and pork. Service is curt but efficient.
The waiting area is quite small so you feel like you are in the way.
There is also a small restaurant for dine in customers
Been here for at least 7 years now. Always ordered their set menu.
For BBQ we love their Suckling Pig, BBQ Pork ribs and the roast duck.
Food and price here are great. If you come in big group try to avoid peak hour or you will be disappointed.
Fast and good roasted duck. Always eat their roasted duck and soy chicken with rice. They also offer special discounts for takeaways. Overall a good place for fast Chinese food
Before there was all the ramen, food festivals and fine dining, there was meat on rice. From charsiu to siu yok to braised duck, this simple combination represents a staple-turned-addiction that has contributed to my ever-burgeoning muffin top. Complimentary Pork and Peanut Soup. BBQ One in Eastwood is the closest I’ve had in Sydney to the favourites I grew up with, displaying their selection of meats on steel hooks in front of a glass window, beckoning to passers-by like hookers in the red light district of Amsterdam.
Everything is cooked in a flash on premise. The roast meats typically hang in the window and if you order this with rice, it can come to my astonishment the first times I ordered it, in less than 100 seconds.
Chinese value soul food...
In my opinion, this is still the best roast duck rice I have ever eaten in all my 11 years in Sydney. This huge plateful of tender duck with crispy skin and can-never-have-enough sauce.
Same people that own BBQ One, same yummy food and menu although it’s more comfortable inside to sit and eat
Had the 2-3 people meal for $45.80, set C, great value and so yummy
The food here are very fantastic! Space a little bit too tight Wait staffs are not very friendly. But overall i'm happy with the dinning experience.
Forgot to take the food photos because i was too hungry that time. 😂😂
New restaurant 阿一小炒 is two doors away. Lobster noodle very nice. No MSG.
Cheap but tasty Hong Kong cuisine - their sets are conveniently priced $46 fed 3 adults 1 child easily with leftovers.
