Quite good: Order the Punjubi butter chicken for two, incredible and not the like boring sweet "Aussie" style fake butter chicken everywhere else serves, which is very sweet. This one has more depth to it - cooked on the bone, a bit more heat from chilli and herbs chopped up and added in. A MUST TRY!!! :)
This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. I had my birthday dinner here with the family one time and we had brought a cake. The staff pulled out a beautiful cake stand and a cake knife and some candles, all without even asking. They really personalised their service and delighted us all. I ordered paneer lababdar, garlic naan and papad. I don’t think I will ever forget the taste. It was awesome!
I havent had a tine to dine in at this restaurant, but i always do takeaways. Their food never fail me. Always exceed my indian cuisine craves.
Definitely gonna find a time and dine at this place.
Yes/no? Yes
Got the paneer butter masala and another vegetarian curry with included vegetables and cream but I honestly forgot the name
For the price and everything, it was a good enjoyable curry.
It’s not the best curry I’ve had but it’s nothing to complain about
Would recommend

We have been here twice and the service has been great. Waitresses are attentive and friendly. The food is tasty. I enjoyed jeera aloo, goat tawa masala and Naan. sizes are not huge, so good for sharing.
Couldn't fault it! Highly recommend!
Great service! No waiting, prompt and polite.
Great staff! Often checking everything was ok.
Great taste and flavour! Everything spicy but not so hot I couldn't eat it.
Great atmosphere! Looks like a restaurant not a school canteen, mood lighting, gentle music.

I very much enjoyed my meal. The Punjabi chicken was very tasty! Also really enjoyed the samosas-they come with 2 lovely dips; the saffron rice; garlic naan and popidoms are yummy. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money
We had baby shower program held there, entree n tea was awesome. Main dish was also good.
The front staff name Babal was really nice person to deal with. I am giving 5 star ratings to her service. She made my program with less hassle.
I wish we could enjoy our play list on the function area side. They had a sound box on the ceiling on our function side where they couldn't turn off the speaker and ended up playing their playlist. Hence couldnt have any dance session .
We have eaten here several times and has never disappointed us and tonight the service and food was amazing like always. Taj on High will always be our go to Indian restaurant. We had Tandoori prawns for entre, Chicken Biryani, Beef Rogan Josh and Naan garlic bread all l can say is OMG delicious!!!!
we called taj on high on a weekday just 20-30 minutes before they close. The lady suggested me few items and then she told me about dahi bhalla in the entree. We ordered it and take away was ready very quick. It was one of the fresh and yummy dahi bhalla ever that I ever ate in Melbourne. Super yummy that I ordered it next day also. Dahi bhalla is a must try at Taj on High.
When it comes to looking for authentic food, we always like to take bit time to drive to the neighbourhood where many of particular ethnic group reside. We worked in India for 2 years. So every once a while we would hit an Indian eatery, it brings back some fun memories of India. Taj on High doesn’t disappoint.
The flavours are on point. It is spicy, it is flavoursome, it is not overly sweet. The place itself is not hard to find with plenty of car space in front. The waitress was friendly. We didn’t make reservation beforehand. There were plenty of tables when we got there. Overall a very satisfying experience.
We had a very good experience. The food is just fantastic and quantity is so much...just price is bit expensive compare to other restaurants but other than that all good. Thank you so much for amazing food and beautiful service.
