Absolutely love this place. The food and service is amazing. I highly recommend this place. I think it's fairly priced based on the quality food that they serve.

So for my 35th birthday my brother took me here and wow was not disappointed. I asked for medium to well and honestly for how i normally have steak was way undercooked but wow i loved it all the same...will be coming back for sure...Anyone thinking of going do yourself a favour and do it :) be warned you may become addicted to their food though...waiter was great as well asian guy with glasses if i recall top effort :)

Celebrating my 50th birthday in Isolation was pretty disappointing, but thankfully from recommendation Squires Loft saved us and we had an amazing takeaway dinner. Thank you to the staff who looked after our order & chefs who cooked our dinner. Would highly recommend Squires Loft Essendon.

Had an expensive-high-end-pub/restaurant atmosphere. Great and knowledgeable service. Delicious steak, which validated the price. Side of chips came in a huge portion which was great. Ribs had a great flavour. Friendly staff. This is 100% my go-to steak restaurant, guaranteed not to be disappointed!

Had dinner here on Easter Monday with 6 others. I had the scotch fillet with chips and pepper sauce. Meat was cooked perfect to my liking - medium well. Chips were good, I also had some of my friends Greek salad which was nice also. The sauce had a sour base which tasted the same when I tried the mushroom sauce - was ok, not bad. Tried some ribs too - they were tender and had a nice bbq flavour.

10% surcharge on public holidays . Our waitress was friendly and professional. Overall enjoyed our meal here 3.5/5

Squires loft is a 4.5! The baked mushroom and feta is delicious! The eye fillet was cooked to perfection and I’m drooling thinking about it, the only let down was the mushroom sauce! The staff are friendly, the atmospheres great and the steak is to die for!

The steaks here are breathtaking & glorious they come with a small chip side and getting the original squires loft basting is all you need. Definately one of the best steakhouses in melbourne

This place never disappoints! Best steaks on this side of melbourne by far. Cooked to perfection, and sides are really tasty too. We arrived 30 mins late to the booking and they still accommodated for us. Great food, great service, what more can I ask for. Shame it’s hidden now by the new tunnel/bridge.

Honestly the best eye fillet I've ever had. Choose the way you like it cooked and they'll hit the nail on the head. It comes with your choice of sauce which thankfully they serve on the side in a gravyboat because it doesn't need any sauce. It's that good. The baked mushroom sides were good. We had garlic mushrooms but you can go herb if the garlic is too much. They have possibly too much garlic. Maybe a hint of garlic would be better. Still they were tasty. There was possibly an imbalance in the size of the steak compared to the chips but you can have potatoes or salad instead of chips if you like. Service is friendly and attentive. The decor could do with a little freshen up but it's still a nice venue. I really enjoyed it overall and I'd go back.

Fantastic friendly service and awesome steaks! Will definitely come back on the regular, the steaks melt in your mouth and staff are lovely and very quick to serve and bring out our food! There’s currently road works going on out the front which is crappy, but it’s worth the short walk to eat there. Don’t let that put you off!

My boyfriend and I went a few weeks ago and loved it! The ribs were very nice and the rib eye was cooked amazing! We love our mushroom sauce and we’re glad we got a good size on the side for our steak 👌 we would gladly go again
