I've been here a few times as I love their croissants so much especially the Almond croissant. However you have to get in there at the right time as lines can get crazy long!! Love the industrial feel inside the shop, and always amazes how they make it. It literally is about the science of crunch! Would seriously compare the crunch and quality of croissants are similar to those I tasted in France! Impressive!
Great news for Lune fans like me because Lune is now delivering viennoiserie to selected suburbs on a rotating basis during this lockdown! Receiving a box of Lune viennoiserie is more exciting than receiving a pot of gold😂
I ordered the:
Ham & gruyere croissant
Pain au Chocolat
Lemon curd cruffin
Kaya cruffin
Almond crossaint
All of them were beautiful, flaky and crunchy. The ham & gruyere was cheesy and savoury. The lemon curd cruffin had beautiful crunchy layers on the outside and was buttery ans pillowy soft on the inside. I loved the lemon curd and wanted more! The kaya cruffin was on special and it was also amazing. The kaya was smooth and aromatic though I wanted more of a pandan flavour. The pain au chocolat was crunchy and had lovely dark bitter notes of chocolate in it and the almond crossaint was possibly the most almondey crossaint I have ever had in my life. Can’t wait for them to deliver to my suburb again!

I have no doubts for their title for the best bakery in all of Melbourne. You will never see such flakiness on a croissant or pastry anywhere but at Lune Croissanterie. They serve a beautiful array of high quality baked pastry. There is no way one can turn away from the aroma of freshly baked goods here.
Definitely recommend to grab 2 croissants, 1 sweet, 1 savoury, with a cup of coffee - you can thank me later. Despite the hefty price of $6 for a croissant, you have to try it before you can justify.
I always come here for the TWICE baked Almond Croissant and Traditional Croissant. It tastes as appealing as it looks. If you are looking for a rollercoaster of flavour and texture, the Almond Croissant ticks all the boxes. It is crumbly, buttery and filled with almond butter.
After trying the Ham & Gruyere Croissant, you'd never want to go back to a regular ham and cheese toast. Definitely recommend if you're going for something savoury.
I ordered a Blueberry Custard Cruffin that is no longer on their menu but I still reminisce about. The not too sweet custard melts in your mouth, contrasted by the buttery flaky crispy pastry, finished off with the burst of blueberry. The cream inside of the shell of pastry was like opening a treasure box.
