We really enjoyed the flamenco music. We had just arrived from Spain and enjoyed the guitar and dancing. You could tell the dancer is from Spain. But the good let me say is authentically Spanish. The paellas are not like these paellas at la bodega se Andres in Australia anywhere
Don't miss it
Delicious Spanish staples in a rustic setting. Generous portions for the price. Friendly service and very accommodating of our 8 month old baby. Will definitely return.

I strongly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the best Spanish food. The chicken paella is great. 5⭐
Food was good and tasty with good size portions. Price was serving size appropriate Service was very good and very friendly staff. Would recommend
Was there last night with a group of friends. A very warm relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very polite and professional. The Sangria was amazing, and all the food that we ordered was incredible. WOW cant wait to go back. Food Ordered - Croquettes, Octopus, Eggplant with goats cheese, Crunchy Potatoes, Seafood Paella & Squid Ink Paella with Aoli. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
Top service, top food, amazing environment. Very authentic. Would absolutly and highly recommend this place. We were there last night and had the food in picture.

This restaurant was the best I have gone so far.
So polite and warm, the food was perfect the paella was perfect, fresh food and the cocktails were so good.
Went here on a Tuesday night and had the calamari & huevos rotos with a couple glasses of wine. Calamari was light and crispy, and huevos rotos was herby and comforting. They also gave us complimentary jamón & cheese which was delicious and much appreciated. The food was probably the most authentic Spanish food I've had in Melbourne, the ambiance was so homey and Andrés checked on and conversed with all diners throughout the night. We had the campo viejo tempranillo and marques riejo wine, both amazing choice. Thank you Andrés, we'll be back soon!
Very good Spanish restaurant. Tasty food and excellent service. It is common to see Andres talking with customers around the tables. We took several tapas this time but we will come back for paella!
It's my first time going to a Spanish restaurant. I wanted to try paella very much so I searched for the cheap and best paella I found this amazing place. Where I like everything is tried. There is a lady dancing in Spanish style and a man with guitar playing continously I really appreciate their work. Paella took some time to come. In the mean time we were enjoying the music and dance with a glass of sangria which I loved
The place is so well decorated, the service is really good and the food is very yummy!!
The prawns are amazing!!! By far my favorites with the sangria.
The ceviche wasn't nice, too much olive oil... but all the rest was delicious!!
Would definitely be back to try the rest of the dishes!
La Bodega de Andrés it's a place very well located near to Smith St. There, you can find classic Spanish food and bring to feel yourself as being in bar in Lavapies Suburb in Madrid.
The restaurant is decorate as a traditional Spanish bar with typical elements from Spain as the "farolillos de Osborne", the Spanish flag and some cans and brands from Spain on their walls.
The music is Latin. When we arrive to the restaurant it was playing some reggaeton music, that is not very representative from the Spanish culture, but after a while, the Sevillanas and flamenco music started to sound and it was great listened to this songs in the heart of Melbourne, good memories from my home country.
The food is delicious. We asked for a seafood soup, "pulpo a la gallega/octopus to the party (galician style)", huevos rotos con chorizo/broken eggs with chorizo, and we must said it was really good. The price is ok, and no very expensive if you compare with other restaurants in the area.
The waitress and the people who was running the business were very polite and attentive but I just missed a thing. One beer Estrella Galicia, but I recommend it 100%. I will come back
Delicious authentic Spanish food that we found walking down Brunswick street . A great selection of tapas sharing dishes and we loved it 😋👌🏻
Nice little place on Brunswick street. Spanish type deco and gypsy Kings music playing to make it feel more authentic. We had a few different tapas to cover us before a party. Crockets, eggplant, potatoes and pinchitos.(lamb kebab). All had good flavour and reasonable prices around $12 each average. Friendly service. I will return.

I turned up very late. They graciously served delicious tapas. The lamb was divine; just the right balance of salt and olive oil. Eggplant and goat's cheese; superb flavours. A glass of Tempranillo was complex and rich. A sensory delight. Service was kind and efficient
