Our go to place for a nice Sunday lunch. My son loves the burger my husband steak and I can’t go past the pork belly! The atmosphere is cosy and the staff has always been fantastic and always have a little joke with my son. We love it will certainly keep this our Sunday favourite.

I’ve been coming here for the past 6 years and the changes in management have been hit and miss, but they have truly nailed it based on my last visit here. Friendly service from the moment we walked in and wait staff were highly attentive and personable throughout the night. Every interaction was positive! Our steaks and sides were beautifully cooked and I honestly cannot fault any part of our experience here. Keep up the great work and I hope our experience will be just as positive the next time we visit!

I have been here many many times over the years. Steaks are always cooked to perfection and I love the condiments you get with the steaks (sauces and mustards)!
Last few weeks I thought I’d change it up and order the chicken schnitzel (which was probably the best schnitzel I had in my whole life - ordered it on numerous occasions) Unfortunately I went and ordered it again the other day and it was below average. Definitely not the same chicken. It was crumbed differently and was much thinner. Like as if it was pre-crumbed. Also the coleslaw has changed and went from tasting amazing to tasteless and pointless (different ingredients and different dressing used now so that was another sign that the ingredients in this dish has changed).

I also ordered the steak sandwich which was very bland and disappointing. Won’t order that again that’s for sure.
I hope the quality soon returns because I do like coming here and I havnt had a bad steak yet. I hope they are not trying to cut costs because it is very noticeable in the difference in quality.

We ordered a rib eye and scotch steak and two lemon lime bitters which totalled up to $110 which is a lot less than the average for two at this restaurant. Both steaks were tender and juicy so overall it was worth its price!

Great location, friendly staff, decent sized pub meals and kids menu. Highlight is the new Beer Garden with playground for the kids and on Every Sunday from 12:30pm-3:30pm, station hotel have FREE Kids activities in their new Beer garden with Cubby house for the kids! Sher Wagyu! 250 grams of paradise. Steak is cooked medium rare to perfection. Salad and chips are the perfect condiments. Service is well appointed. Would be definitely one of the top steak restaurants in the West. As you can see by the photo it was sensational.

Went here last night for my girlfriends birthday dinner and was extremely satisfied with the meal. We begun the evening with a dozen oysters and I could have eaten them all myself they were that good. Paired with a nice wine, they went down a treat. The mains were everything we could have asked for (if not more). The steak was perfectly cooked as was the rainbow trout. We all thoroughly enjoyed our dinning experience and left extremely satisfied.

My husband, friends and I recently enjoyed an incredible dinner at The Station. The steaks were cooked beautifully and had some amazing flavours. My husband opted for the 8 week dry aged special and it did not disappoint! The service was also phenomenal- the staff really know their stuff! We'll be back for sure.

Station Hotel is a great option and they do some excellent food - they seem to be well known for their steaks but I've enjoyed most dishes I've tried here (and their desserts were delicious)

😱Lizzie’s first impression: my all time local favourite place to go for steak.

🍩Lizzie enjoyed: its always packed with people even on a Sunday night. It’s been a local steak place for me and I love it. As Steak is not my my forte, I can’t comment on which cut I love the most because usually it’s such a medium sirloin or tbone. The sauce for the steak is amazing - i love it so much. But they do have other dishes like risotto and parmas that are really good too. I’m so impressed.

🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: make sure you book or you may find yourself sitting on the other side (bar area) before getting a spot.

🥇Lizzie rates overall: love this local steak place and I’m sure it will continue to be consistent as everyone loves coming back for more!

Truly is the best steak from the West. Quality of meat is extremely at a high standard and presented well. Atmosphere and high level of customer service made it more appealing and comfortable. Would strongly suggest this restaurant to friends and family.
