I really like the effort the staff make to provide quick and friendly service. The food is good. Not amazing, but consistently tasty and filling enough to regularly draw us back for lunch. It’s usually doing a roaring trade, both dining in and takeaway.

Cafe 55 has recently had a refit and is now renamed HIGH ON 55. Wow! What a transformation! The decor has now been bought into the modern world, the menu has been improved out of site and the quality of produce that comes rolling out of their kitchen is simply, amazing!! Have noticed that most of the lunchtime 10:30am to 2:30pm reviews have been on their Laksa but you really have to try their other dishes such as the Bun Bo Xao & Saigon Chicken. Sooooo good! The revamp has also included their 7am to 10:30am breakfast menu which is simple but really well cooked & at a really good price. Their BELT(bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato) sandwich is worth the visit, every time! Now my most favourite place to eat in the whole world.
The seafood laksa is my absolute favourite dish of all time! I could not fault it and have been going back to Cafe 55 for over 5 years. Highly recommend.
Best coffee in freo. Nadia is a absolute star barista. They are the kind of coffee you want to shed a little tear when you finish them. The laksa and the bahn mi is amazing for lunch. Make sure you bring your appetite. The laksa serve is HUGE!
Delicious Vietnamese food and the best coffee on High Street. With a vibrant atmosphere and staff that are always friendly, you can go past this gem in Fremantle.
