What can I say....... the seafood platter was just awesome......the waitress was helpful.....The Boat House has great atmosphere and the view of the bay is fantastic.....would definitely recommend this place for seafood .....cheers

The seafood was amazing. So fresh and perfectly cooked. I had the seafood platter, followed by lemon tart. It was a large meal! Each item in the platter was cooked in a way to enhance the food. The barramundi had a very light batter, the whiting was crumbed, the calamari had a coating of seasoned flour, the prawns - grilled, the mussels lightly battered, and the scallops grilled too. All perfection! The lemon tart, homemade, was creamy and tart (lemony), with a thin base. And I haven’t mentioned the staff - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I’ll be back, thank you.
Beautiful fish and chips. The setting was nice, the view was beautiful! Like seriously! where is a better place to eat fish and chips than on a boat.. looking out the sea and trying not to feed the seagulls 😂

Ordered the seafood platter for two and everything was delicious. Calamari was very tender, fish was cooked well and batter was light, prawns and scollop skewers cooked to perfection and the chips yum. 5he service was great very friendly staff and food came out qickly. Will be going again and I have no hesitation in recommeding, a great place to eat.
Great venue with a fantastic view over the water. Unfortunately the day I visited it was cold and wet which meant venturing outside into the deck was not considered. Food was well cooked and presented. And the portions were generous. The prices were on the high end of the scale especially for lunch. If the prices are the same for dinner, then I would recommend it. There is a fish and chip shop attached but this is a seperate business.
The Geelong Boat House is located in the heart of the Eastern Beach Pier, serving up some of the best fish and chips in the area.
They were packed when we arrived this evening with people standing around everywhere. Our order number was #21 while they were only up to #92 (the numbers reset at 99)!
This boathouse is my go-to joint for Fish and Chips in Geelong. The fish and chips are consistently good, while the other items can vary. The staff are very friendly and while they tend to be rushed during the busier periods of the day, I’ve never had any problems beside a longer wait time.

Geelong Boathouse. Increadible!!!! The seafood here is absolutely top quality. With impeccable service from the wait staff and wonderfully cheerful and accommodating owners who are very happy to chat with customers.
Meals are well priced in the bistro considering the quality of the chefs delicious gourmet seafood menu, its not your regular fried flake!
For views, service and food quality this good you simply must experience it for yourself!
Yummy!!. A little over priced for what I'd usually get at my local fish n chips but lovely location and really yummy fish and chips.. :-)
Great place!. Amazing fish and chips on a boat! I grabbed takeaway but there is a bistro section. Fantastic lemon & pepper squid, light batter on the fish and moist well cooked fish. So glad we randomly stopped at the carpark right outside and decided to go in.
