The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, the prices are decent, this place is in my opinion the best fish n chip shop in Victoria, maybe Australia.
Chips are awesome! Crabsticks are the best I have had, can't go to any other place now! Burgers are massive, tasty and changeable (can ask for beef burger without pineapple or onions etc) The girls though look at me judgingly as I am a regular (and a bit on the chunky side) they never smile and should probably be replaced or taught how to be polite! The old man sitting to the side always smiles at me and the other man (though lacking in smiles) always is polite, he always calls me my mums name though because I place the orders in her name as my name is too hard to say but thats fine. Seriously TRY THE CRABSTICKS AND CHIPS!
I've tried most FnC joints in Geelong and this is by far the best I've been to. Great fish, great chips and if you order a Potato Cake you get another free. Love this place 😋
This is the only fish and chip shop I go to in Geelong, I am always treated nicely by the guy who is in there, the young girls need a lesson in customer service though, a smile won't kill you! The food is always wonderful though, very nicely cooked and the fish is delicious! Always been my favourite place to go
Good food. Gluten free fish for us, and Granny got a chicko roll. Took it all down to Rippleside and demolished the lot with a little help from Barry the whippet on his daily walk.

Quality. One of Geelong's best Fish'n'Chip shops - always super fresh, love the flake here and they get the chips right !! John is a great guy, dropped some money out of my back pocket once(had no idea I had lost it) he put the money aside, and gave it to me the next time I came in - integrity, great guy, great fish'n'chips !!

OMG THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IVE EVER HAD!!. I have been to the Hungry Seagull quite a few times now, and love it!! I have never been dissapointed, the food is fresh and yummy and reasonably priced, with generous portion sizes. Im always full after I eat here.
I have tried all others in the area and nothing compares to The Hungry Seagull.
If you want great quaility traditional fish n chips, with friendly service then this is the place to go
