We really couldn't of picked a more beautiful venue to have our wedding. We went here for dinner last year for valentines day and knew this was the place we were going to get married. The view is incredible, our guests loved the food, it was just delicious and the staff were so polite and professional. Thank you again to Bev and the lovely staff at Forest edge for everything and making sure our wedding was perfect, we will be back for sure! Carly & Nate :)
Took my partner here on Sunday for the delicious wood fired pizzas and a nice bottle of vino. Sunday acoustic sessions started around 1.30pm with a small gathering of people coming in. Service was good with not a long wait and pizzas were lovely.
Nice hideaway place so will be back for sure to continue showing this place off.

Champagne great owner thing we didn't like was the wine list pretty much stocked wine from the officer winery and nothing else much on offer

This was the 2nd Christmas lunch we have enjoyed at Forest Edge. Last time it was a buffet with traditional Christmas fare on offer, this time a choice of 4 dishes for each of the 3 courses. I don't know which I preferred because I enjoyed both. Either way, great food, lovely service staff and a gorgeous view of the ranges. We all enjoyed the day and no cleaning up after 😎

Set amidst the rolling green hills in Gembrook sits Forest Edge Restaurant. A beautiful, family run restaurant set on 65 acres of fresh farming land. The venue operates as a fine dining restaurant, a more casual pizza and wine bar and importantly, a beautiful venue for weddings. I had driven past the turn off to Forest Edge Restaurant on a number of occasions and I had also been told by locals that this was a “must visit” restaurant, so a visit was high on my wish list. Last week I finally got to visit.
We dined here on a Sunday afternoon in the pizza bar area. The views are beyond breath taking, live music playing and comfortable furniture made it feel like a place you could spend all afternoon in! The pizzas were delicious with generous toppings and at around $15 a pizza it is awesome! The staff were friendly and attentive. You order at the bar which makes splitting bills a breeze. The only down fall was my parents ordered prior to us, there pizzas came 15 mins before ours did and the road is a bit tricky on the way there but it's definitely worth it!
Amazing Morroccan at Forest Edge!. Had a fantastic experience here last week at their Moroccan banquet. 6 incredible courses, hard to choose my favourite! Our entire table agreed....amazing flavours and plentiful portions, as always! The chilli lemon curd on chocolate mousse dessert....simply to die for! Very reasonably pricied as well, great atmosphere and excellent friendly service! A bargain at $50 per head, loved the teapot cocktails as well. Everyone left satisfied, loving these theme nights...bring on some more! Thanks to the team at Forest Edge yet again!!

Always enjoyable.. Been coming to Forest Edge since it opened and it has NEVER disappointed! I love the casual dining introduced in the new bar as well ( wood fired pizza & tapas). However, I will always return for, my personal favourite, a perfectly cooked eye fillet. Mmmm!
Worth the drive!. A glorious drive through the Yarra Ranges to this magnificent property. It is true, from the moment you walk into the restaurant the views astound you. This is accompanied by beautiful food and attentive service. Didn't want to leave, will definitely be back!
Beautiful scenery to see through very large windows. Food was amazing and plentiful. Staff attentive. Loved the open fire and background music. Would like to try Sunday lunch here.
The owners Rob and Beverley are positively lovely! The staff are friendly and extremely attentive. The views are romantically breathtaking. However above all else the food is absolutely delectable!!!! It's possible that I have never experienced such a taste sensation! Have seen a wedding here and it was positively beautiful! If your on a drive do not pass this place, stop in and have lunch or dinner you will not regret it!!!!
Devine. From start to finish, the whole dinning experience was a pleasure. Just what was needed. A roaring fire, candles burning and a good and varied menu selection. We didn't have any entrees but the mains were very good. We had room to share a dessert....the Jaffa sponge cake mmmm..more please!
